So it makes us wonder if it is something in the religion itself that makes them that way. From what I have learned so far, Islam doesn't really seem to be more violent than Judaism, Hinduism, old testament Christianity and other religions.
It's just that the followers of Islam seem to have the same mindset of Medieval era Christians.
