  • First it was ozone holes , remember that one ? Omg omg ozone holes above antarctica is too big, letz add some taxes ! Then global warming ... now climate change... pff bullshit

  • The IPCC is now using , to defend its blatantly bogus and ever so transparently false climate claims, the kind of phrasing of Homer Simpson used regarding his mortgage application, and Bill Clinton used about Ms Lewinsky..

"It depends on what you mean by "warming" and "temperature" " (via BC)

"That wasnt a lie, that was a complicated web of lies" (HS)

  • Imagine if AGW started at the time Darwinism started, when there was no internet, and had 150 years time to grow and spread throughout universities global-wide. It would have become an irrefutable science, and anyone opposing it would have been classified as an intellectual inferior or just plain ignorant.

  • you could take any student or any professor and claim that their test scores or grades were faked. no need for proof. only spreading rumors. only a lunatic would listen to that.

  • Why do you say this news report is just rumors? Do you think that RT just made it up?

  • Fraud, fraud, fraud - everywhere you look. The amount of fraud exposed on this CO2 global warming scare is getting out of hand. Time for someone to face charges in a court of law.

  • $2.85 billion in value lost due to Cash for Clunkers. Justification? Global warming, carbon emissions, peak oil...

    total bs.

  • why are the called climate skeptics.they seem to right on target ,the ipcc seems to be the skeptics, skeptics wrong word .liars, cheats, list can go on c.o2 toxic waste ?my god people think about it.probably every lifeform on the planet needs it.what would happen to soda pop and beer, im all for a cleaner world.but cap and trade .only peeps that will help is al gore and his bunch of fools

  • I was in 1st grade in 1992 and thats when i first started learning about global warming. All Gore was VP maybe that had something to do with it. The global warming people thought they would have active support of the young people around this time, but it turns out the people that believe this have other things to do such as smoke pot and watch tv.

  • I was thinking too when I first heard about global warming, and it was around the same time. There was some kind of save the planet bs at my school, and they showed us this kind of left-wing indoctrination. It was around that time, 1992.

  • Epic Science Fail!

  • It's going down, baby...

  • You're the best, Laura Emmett!

  • Manbearpig

  • I study geography in plymouth uni and its quite sad that this global warming theory is being pushed on the young minds in a very biased fashion with a total ignorance.

  • Turn off the television.

Everything you need can be found on the internet. News, movies, music, even your favorite shows. The internet is a free medium. Get rid of the television telling you what to watch and how to think. You have the power, turn it off.

  • The media is corporate controlled, that is why they want to end the internet. 5 to 6 companies own about 90% of all the media, they want us to worry more about the Super Bowl or the World Cup more than trillions that have been stolen from nations all over the globe by the Banksters.

  • It is pretty friggen sad when as an American, I have to get most of my news from sources such as RT. Our news is to busy trying to explain why I should bow to Obama and do he says. Thanks for the telling us what some have believed for a decade is no true. Al Gore needs a new vocation.

  • Thanks - you did good here!

  • We are destroying these muppets.

    WORLD PATRIOTS PREVAIL

  • Actually, the founder of the weather channel did file a class action lawsuit against Al Gore in 2008, and he got 30,000 scientists to sign on.

  • It's actually closer to 31, 500 scientists now.

  • These weather clowns did it all to be able to tax us all. They are not giving up on it even though caught in the huge climategate scam. That online game Obama's Coup Fails is based on this and Obama using the fake science to enact the Fake Cap and Trade legislation along with the fake health care reform that doesn't start until 2014 yet if passed we would be taxed now. google 2011 Obama's coup fails and join the online revolution.

  • The "SUN" is the main engine in climate, not humans,or cow farts..

  • its a scam ..the globalists are trying to institute a carbon credit scheme..then they can fund a population reduction program.

  • To everyone who says global warming is a lie, answer one question.

If that's true, then how come millions of people aren't suing Al Gore for their money back (for buying his DVD, seeing his lectures, etc.)?

  • @ whereismybailouttv

That's a great idea! Al Gore is rich! Who's up for a class action lawsuit?

  • Because they are brainwashed idots

  • Sure global warming is real but humans probably dont have anything to do with it. Just think over it as universal warming, cuz as far as i've researched. The whole damn universe is warming...do us humans have somethin to do with the other planets getting hotter too?

  • Vote BNP !

  • i hope this doesn't give the impression that we are not poisoning our planet and people so dirty corps can do more damage.this falsified information was just to stop poorer countries from doing well.

  • The truth is irrepressible, now its exploding!

  • Jeez the presenter and the interviewed talk of not just climate change but refer to climate warming and how much is down to man.

Leaving aside the pollution issues that all appear to of forgotten.

    Although G.W Bush said this:

"It isn't pollution that's harming the environment. It's the impurities in our air and water that are doing it."

    The point is:

    cont...

  • Icecaps are melting. Old icecaps. Not only Greenland and the Poles, but glaciers all over the world. This is a hard fact. This cannot be denied. One may travel anywhere and observe it with one's own eyes. Compare to 50 year old photographies. Then add the fact that all these icecaps provided a relatively small - but quite significant - reflection of sun's heat away from the earth's surface. It seems there is very little sensible reason to doubt that global warming is happening.

    cont...

  • It is estimated that for each rising centigrade of air temperature, the air will hold 4% more water. The humidity rises. If the air temperature on a medium average of the year rises with as little as 3c, the air will hold 12% more water. That translates into quite a lot of rain & snow in the winter. Is also the temperature rise over the last 100 years.

    cont...

  • Demographically speaking, humans have had a tendency to settle near waterways & ocean fronts. The greater percentage of the world's life structures, human insect colonies, urban configurations & infrastructural functions are susceptible to rising waters. Projections suggest that if all the icecaps melt down, the sea will, on average, rise with 60 meters. Lower East Manhattan won't like that.

Ask not if global warming is caused by human activities. Ask rather what you are going to do to survive.

  • outrageous!

please supply me with the evidence that the sea will rise by SIXTY meters... you get that from an IPCC computer model or something?

  • 3wdotjohnstonsarchivedotnetslashenvironmentslashwaterworlddothtml

You'll like that one. It supports your theory that man is not responsible, however thats not the debate here, how best should we deal with it.

That figure is accepted by scientists on all sides of the argument.

This clearly demonstrates your ignorance of the claims you're making whatever your opinion it is simply your "belief" & as a "belief" has no place in a scientific discussion. Please go the the religious section.

  • If, if, if,if....

What position are you actually taking?

  • Read it slowly :)

  • I did. I even tried moving my lips. It still makes little to no sense.

  • Thats because you have "belief" and what you are reading does not fit wit your "belief" I really do not care what you "believe".

  • @Kinkspace

Keep tilting at windmills and ignore the science all you will, but the tide has turned.

  • Fine by me I can afford to be wrong, but if your wrong I'll be watching you starve and swim from high ground :)) Your only gambling with your future and your families future as all "believers" do.

  • I see that you had to resort to Pascal's Wager, along with a pinch of demagogery, in order to support your position. This is hardly a compelling argument.

Hasn't the behaviour of IPCC and politicians given you any reason to think 'hang on a minute, this is weird'?

  • Sorry I don't do politics I aspire solutions to related problems.

What I think is weired is everyone else does and this is not really a political matter. It boils down to survival, not whether you believe 100's of scientists world wide or the 30 Monsanto as the only beneficiary of climate change owned to discredit it.

    Simply survival :)

    cont...

  • Do you really think you can stop it? And if you can, then what would you do?

And if you can't stop it, how do you know that someone who doesn't believe in global warming isn't capable of taking the same precautions or measures anyhow.

I can conceive of a smart person knowing where to go, where to live to survive global warming. Couldn't they go ahead and hedge their bets and move there, even if they think it's not a problem?

So how is this a question of survival?

  • Climate change is happening at an accelerated rate, theres no point arguing about the cause other than how it relates to our survival, that equates to sustainability, with the population as it is there is no hope of sustainability unless your happy with...

The existing wild habitats like the rain forest, will be given over to become green genetically modified deserts, giving higher yields and stripping the soil further of any remaining nutrients.

    cont...

  • So the world once destroyed by flood will be destroyed again by fire.

What are you going to do?

  • Mankind would of created for themselves a new geological era, the Ermozoic, the Era of Solitude, where lil remains on Mother Earth but themselves and the prosthetic environment that keeps them alive. Mankinds own version of being in control of his own destiny is to create his own life support machine.

    cont...

  • Is it because of your belief in Mother Earth that you feel that you have to say all of these things? If Mother Earth hates us humans, couldn't she just wipe us out?

Again, what are you going to do?

It seems that the people who in my estimation would be best capable of surviving global warming are the ones who believe in it the least.

If you really believe all of this, why aren't you talking about survival skills?

  • Earth has a self regulating mechanism, so in turn the planet will evolve to become less supporting of human life. So all those that wanted control of your own destiny congratulations, at this point its all up to you, humans will even have to produce breathable air, cos nothing else will at that point.

  • Wasn't that a movie?

If it's to the point that we have to produce our own breathable air, I doubt very seriously that most people could survive.

In any case, I'll talk about another concern that is a real one and is being obscured by global warming, and that's water quality.

I can tell you from history that water quality in industrialized countries is better than it was in the medieval period. No one believes me when I say that!

Wood burning is dirtier than using electricity.

  • Just curious, and I hate conspiracy theories but... Did it ever seem a little too much of a coincidence that that those so called out of context leaks reportedly from hackers came from the UEA, the UEA has the largest research facility in Europe for Monsanto. The UEA also receives huge amounts of funding for other projects from Monsanto...

    cont...

  • Statistics tell us most women are raped by men they know, by the same token they also tell us that leeks are rarely from hackers but inside jobs.

The chances of hackers picking up on those e-mail and publishing out of context out of thousands are trillions/one.

The chances of it being more targeted by Monsanto that has both motive and opportunity are under 100/1.

    Explore the possibilities :)

  • Uh, even if it was an inside job, that doesn't mean that it was false. It's called whistleblowing, and it happens ALL OF THE TIME.

  • Google Occam's razor :)

  • I took science; I know what that is.

    Occam's razor applied:

Winters are getting worse in the US, so maybe we should first consider that global warming isn't real after all.

  • How do you know that you aren't going to be the one starving? I mean, you can prepare all you want, but history teaches us that even the best plans can go awry. I mean, there isn't just ecological devastation. There is economic. It's possible that if global warming is as bad as you say it is, then there would certainly be worldwide economic consequences, sim. to the fall of the Roman Empire. But my concern is that maybe humans might destroy things, not global warming, thru irrationality.

  • Even if your numbers were right that would be a good thing as it would mitigate daytime temps, decrease winter temps over a larger area due to increased heat reflection and also increase precip, which is much better than to decrease precip. So basically your saying that 'for each degree rise, far more heat mitigation factors increase magnitude'? That should make you happy!

  • No it will not, where do you get that from. It will increase extreme weather and temperature conditions both ends of the scale. It will not be cold enough to refreeze the poles but it will result in colder winters due to the amount of moisture in the air for many of us. And hotter summers. Generally weather conditions will become increasingly variable This will effect many things not just sea rise and pollution, it will effect farming like this year Florida lost much of its orange crop and so on

  • NO they will be cooler summers! More moisture in the air would mean lower daytime temps and better precip and droughts are far more damaging to a larger areas than floods, even if floods are more damaging to local areas that are flood prone. variable weather is not a bad thing. Florida has been losing orange crops for 200 years. The coldest temp ever in FL was -2F in Tallahasee area 1898. Dont act like weather was stable until 10 years ago, go back and check records, there has been flux forever.

  • OMG No it depends on how that water congregates and where jeez!

I'm not going to debate this with you because you do not know what your talking about, you seem to be applying junior school science logic from the 50's Weather patterns do not work like that. Lol you had to go back over 100 years for that temperature =)) What does that tell you? Whether systems will become more freakish than we have been used to, the only people benefiting from this will be Monsanto.

  • gfys, youre the one that has no idea what they are talking about. What matters ultimately regarding overall planet temp is not even weather patterns but atmospheric heat carrying capacity and that depends on specific heat capacities, conductivity and diffusivity. CO2 is barely different from N2 and O2, esp since its not even as prevalent as Argon in the atmosphere and yes H2O does, but increase in that allows more vegetation which increases weather stability. You argue politics, not science..

  • Pollution? You have the map but you do not know the terrain. That makes your map useless. Get it?

  • You are only looking at CO2 emissions in a two dimensional format, when it is multidimensional, you need to look at consequences, chemical transformation, atmospheric boundary layer, circulation patterns, heat transfer, sulfur emissions, topography, astrophysics, atmospheric physics, chemistry, ecology, geology, geophysics, glaciology, hydrology, oceanography, and volcanology. etc etc etc.... None of which support your argument. Now who's arguing "belief" over science.

  • You can't even argue with him. You just call everyone names. I'm seeing people like you all over youtube now. You despute certain points of view, and then you weakly offer some liberal view, and then the rest of it is just calling people names. But you don't actually provide any facts or arguments. So you lose....

  • I gave facts in my previous comment, I did not call "him?" any names and you need to read the whole thread then if you have anything concrete to add do it.

If all you can do is generalize and stereo type those that do not share your views what does that say about you and your views?

  • Why do you keep talking about Monsanto? I know who they are.

In any case, the whole global warming thing may be just crap because accurate weather information is generally not available from long ago.

  • The less predictable the weather the less able we are to know where to sew what crops.

Population clock a few mins ago...6982287255 and counting up.

    People will begin to starve.

  • that's a good thing for the planet's agriculture, as that generally needs more variation in plantings. I plant things that will do well if hot dry summer, some that do well if its cool & wet, some that will do well in both. That may disrupt the insane global reliance on monoculture plantations, but many things have a longer than 1 year storage capacity with various processing. It would be good for local agri trade!

Yes the planet has too many people, agreed; 3rd world needs contraception!

  • Actually, the last time the planet significantly warmed was in the medieval period, and it was actually beneficial for much of Europe, particularly Northern Europe. They were able to grow more food. People were wealthier and better fed as a result.

  • Go look at not just one piece of information but all of it if your mind can take that much.

The circumstances in the medieval period were different, for a state the data available suggests warming was local to some areas and not global, secondly the entire rise from 800-1300AD was less than 1degree C. The last century has seen a rise of 3 degrees centigrades. The population back then was only 400,000,000, and unindustrialized,

    cont...

  • Todays industrialized population is 6,982,468,666 and counting up. The causes of the climate conditions in this period are: heightened volcanic activity (CO2), cyclical lows in solar radiation, flow changes in ocean currents decreased human populations due to the Black Death and the Columbian Exchange.

As for all your other claims they have no factual foundation they are simply your beliefs and do not warrant any kind of serious redress.

  • Your information is wrong and misleading. For instance, your assertion about the 1 degree celsius. The fluctuations for the entire period from approximately 0 AD to 1000 AD, well into the medieval warming period were less than 1 degree celsius. The medieval warm period started around 800 and lasted until 1300. The black death took place afterwards between 1348 and 1350.

What you say looks like facts, but is not factual.

  • Kinkspace----You have been deluded by the

    Propoganda Machine. Follow the MONEY.

    Cap and Trade.

  • People have been starving since the beginning of mankind. BUT people would've all died LONG ago if technology hadn't made a more abundant life possible.

  • Personally i do not know why population is always conspicuous by its absence on the agenda as a contributing factor to the problems we are facing. But then I remember we are living in a pyramid system so if the bottom crumbles the top will fall. And politicians and corporates won't like that.

  • Measurements they have taken of core glacial structures show they are hardening.

  • If you don't get why they are talking about climate change aka global warming, read up on both... No one(here) is proclaiming humans don't have any effect at all, this is something that indeed can be proven by just opening you're eye's.... The same can be said tough about why "they" talk about climate change aka global warming... You just need to take a good long look to see the scam here.

  • Uh, in the 1970s the big scare from these same scientific institutions was that an ICE AGE was coming.

  • im not paying for these taxes! if gore and obama and the UN are so afraid of the planet melting, why dont they stop eating meat, use bicycles as transportation or just stop breathing? they're complete criminal hypocrites and we want our money back!

  • I am not kidding, these people should be executed for attempting genocide!

  • co2 helps trees grow bigger and faster....i learn that in school, when they taught the truth, many years ago....

  • @remanuelli ahh for those good old days where truth mattered ....

  • now the IPCC is just worried about criminal charges and thats why they are going to stick to their claims as long as they can. they got to be arrested with al gore, maurice stron, rothschild and others who where involved.

  • When we are told that 2500 scientists agree, well in reality only 62 reviewers reviewed the chapter in question, 31 of which had a vested interest. Of the 31 that did not, only 4 agreed with the panel's findings. So we're supposed to change world policy at the expense of everyone on the planet for the sake of 4 people's opinion.

  • As is ALWAYS the case, one lie soon leads to another and then another.

It is only when the lie is eventually found out (as is now the case) that the lie inevitably comes to an abrupt end.

This lie is nothing but a small part of the WEB OF LIES (the matrix) we currently exist within.

The SPIDER that has spun the WEB being of course the POWERS THAT BE (the Corporations) that have bought up and corrupted our governments.

  • funny how we dont see this on the MSM

  • So much of Evil Russia trend in Hollywood. It seems to me, their media is the only media telling the truth.

  • lol how strange that we never ever hear about such things in our "free" media in germany but only in the supposedly ohh so badly censored (according to german media) russian media

  • i like rt much more then other newsstations around the world.

  • Is Russia Report the only news cast who is telling the truth?

  • There are a lot of people in the US that are saying similar things. RT often has those people on. So RT doesn't have to make stuff up. It's not propaganda in that sense, but they are purposefully providing another view. In fact, isn't that their slogan? But they do seem to be a major news organization more akin to the BBC, so it's refreshing in that sense.

  • Yes, why do they stonewall, destroy and manipulate data? What is the benefit to these scientists?

    Nice yellow color.

  • if they dont "produce results" they lose their grants. So they have a vested interest in keeping the lie going

  • I wonder the same thing, but I can tell you this, economists lie. Historians lie. Major historians lie. Best-selling, famous, well-esteemed historians lie. I've seen it for myself, so why shouldn't scientists distort things?

  • Tired of it they can just do what they want. Even when they are in the wrong they still do what they want. Who stands up to these people ? who keeps them in check ? what system is put in place to prevent them from gaining to much global power ?

  • If there is enough awareness, the genii can't be put back in the bottle. So it's good when you spread the word about something.

  • *****!

  • question everything you have been told

  • I studied Middle East history when I was younger, and I remember how much lies I would hear on the news everyday. People are taught to believe what they see, what they hear, but you really do have to question everything....

  • AGW is junk science!!!

  • The U,N, is corrupt!
