  • How much for that CNC Boring Bar, used...? :)

  • what are the sleeves for???

  • @ruizmontesluis10 Extra support for aluminum engine heads, usually needed in order to apply a turbocharger to most cars, or just to reinforce the engine head for an extra power addition. Hope that helped!

  • @NJPiineapple yeah bro thanks

  • Reason why ppl sleeve the H22 is because we're limited with piston options and of course to handle alot more boost than than 8-12psi.

  • so why are you sleeving the car install the new one

  • how much to sleeve a k24z2? overbore to 77.5 mm

  • yea it only takes a couple of hours if you have no other priorities. some shops have other things that came before that sleeve job.

  • The worst advertisement

  • This is an easy job to do with a CNC Vertical Machining Center. Once fixturing, tooling, and programming are done for the first time you could do the set-up and block machining in about 2 hours on all future H22 blocks in the same machine. I had about 8 hours in the set-up, programming, and machining on the first one. These guys need to set a good example and wear safety glasses if they're going to post videos!

  • bad ass ! block was beautiful!

  • so y do u sleve the block??coz i dont no and im tryna learn shit off youtube haha

  • alright... unlike the other asses on u tube ill anser ur question..block sleeving increases the bore (cylinder circumfrence) of the engine block, which increase its volume. With more volume, comes more air, more air equals more power. Hope this helps..

  • lxlSTARBAllxl- Your talking about boring the cylinders. You can sleeve a cylinder without increasing the the bore.

  • nzk20a- It adds strength to the cylinder.

  • dont know what everyone else is talking about but hondas come with an open deck so the cylinder walls are some what strong for n/a but if you add boost the walls of the cylinder are not thick enough or strong enough to handle the pressure most hondas can run 8 lbs with no mods i ran 16-19 lbs making over 400 with stock sleeves on a lsvtec turbo with a good tune and built bottom end and was fine. over that you gonna need some sleeves if you want the block to hold up.

  • @nzk20a so you can run higher boost in those motors. you can run 6 pounds on a h22 motor. when you sve you can run way higher boost

  • the block is probably being sleeved because h22s us fiber reinforced cylinder walls. so you cant run forged pistons. sleeving the block with allow you to run forged pistons in an h22. which means you can increase bore, or leave it stock, and you can get forged high compression pistons for an all motor build, or forged low compression pistons for boost. and this makes the bottom end alot more durable

  • stupid question but is it the same price for the solid block h22a?

  • Would you be able to re upload this video?

  • dang i have cnc mill i think i will try this myself

  • @ashleyb82 sure and i have access to Michael Jacksons never never land ranch....y would u even post that like who gives a shit, did u learn how to use it off youtube vids to?

  • I have an stock H22 making 270 whp (turbo). By my calculations that is well over 50 hp over stock.. An the turbo has been on for a year and has about 4k miles on it and has been down the strip 20+ times... And i do have quite the lead foot.

  • Some shops sleeve at a flat rate. H22 a common block to modify.

  • Our flat rate for the H22 is $1275 which includes sleeves and labor. However, we are running a special for the H22 and the price is $1050. Each block has a different price, depending on the labor and costs involved.

  • Well, I don't have an H22; however, I do have a J32 in need of sleeving. I have some darton mid sleeves, cp pistons, crower rods and I need the works. The summary of what you would be working with is a disassembled pre machined block, heads need to to be port n polished, crank that needs to be micro polished. Are you willing to work on a engine that no one has internally attempted?

  • We work on engines that do not have an aftermarket following all the time here. It takes time to get the parts built and it is also very difficult to determine some of those costs until the product is made. What year J32 do you have? Most likely we will have to re-grind the crank to get a set of rods to work for you...then get the pistons built custom to fit the stroke/rod combo...we are in the middle of doing that to some V6 Mazda engine.

  • May I have an email? 03 J32. I have custom pistos, rods, and sleeves. Parts are not a problem. List of things I need are rod bearings, re-grind crank, port and polish, bore the sleeves to fit the pistons.

  • hey i wanna get my block sleeved but unfortionately i dont have the machinery... i have d16y7.. how much do you think it will cost?

  • how much to sleeve a QR25DE spec v motor?

  • There are many models that this block comes in. What is the year / make / model of your car? With this information, I can call my vendors and see what we can do for you.

  • its just the 2.5L |4 nissan car motor, this one is in a 2003 nissan sentra spec v.

  • Hi, Um im not a real geniuess about cars, could u please explain what this sleeve thing dose for a car? whats the outcome? and wwhats the cost? thanks

  • what does sleeving actually do for the motor?

  • i got a 5.0 mustang I want sleeved? how much? I want to run drag boost psi on it though!

  • do you guys inline hone with a deck plate?

  • yes we can just give a call to the shop and inquire 540-722-3966

  • why do all these car videos use the same song? there are other songs that sound "badass" you know...

  • we always use a different song for every video we make. listen closely.

  • whats the new bore measurement? Whats the biggest bore possible for the H22A1, and what do you charge?

  • can u post a # ta call

  • 540 722 3966

  • AR FAB ceases to amaze me. Attention to detail is what matters and you guys have plenty of it. When are you guys gonna finish that badass black supra? ;-)

  • fantastic Howard! Your customer service is #1 and your attention to detail is out of this world! ~Greg

  • AR FAB at work. Saw a couple of blocks being done personally. All I have to say is "Quality" and "Detail". Thumbs up AR FAB and their crew.
