@jtcash the dimensions should be the same... If you listen to what im saying though its that the Lstand leans forward when its clamped and in place. This causes your laptop to cover most of whats underneath it... I had to constantly lean back to get a good view of my mixer and make sure I was pressing the right buttons. dont know if that makes sense to you...

This stand is pretty good... Don't really have any problems with it but Im thinking of upgrading to The Crane LapTop Stand. Have you seen that one yet? Its a bit pricey but looks fantastic!!!
I had never seen the Crane stand before so I just googled it. DAMN, that stand is really impressive! So flexible, compact and sturdy. It's got to be the best laptop stand I ever saw. I wonder if I can sell my Uberstand and get a Crane now. DAMN IT!!! lol
haha nice stand i got one almost like its not a oddesy LOL i welded my own with aluminum friggin light but durable....gotta do sumthing since im on a budget lol but soo i'll copping one of those i seen them down here but it expensive over here in canada almost a good 100 bucks cdn! lol

That is 1 fine laptop stand, thanks 2 Odysssey for coming out with a better product now, after all us DJ's went out and got the original L-Stand that took up extra room when not in use...Geez!!!

Did the LStandM actually have more clearance than the LStand? I thought the dimensions were almost identical.
