I'm sorry, I love Simon, but everything about him is an act and he's definitely not genuine. He's not the mean and disconsiderate person he plays on TV. Everyone who knows him says he's very nice behind the scenes. So, he's anything but honest and genuine when he's on TV, which is ironic bc he got famous for being honest, but nothing about his public image is honest. He's rude on TV on purpose bc he knows it'll shock people and draw attention.But he's not like that in real life.
In every possible way^^ He's honest, he's mostly right, he knows what he's doing because he's got experience in the matter... you name it.=)
Sure people thinks he's rude.. but he isn't really rude he just says what he thinks, he's never really mean, he doesn't call people names like some do to him.
If people prefer to be lied to, that's their problem. I'd rather be told the truth than waste my life chasing a dream that I'll never get.
He is mean on purpose. Calling them bush babies or saying they sound like cats being killed is not being honest, it's being unnecessarily mean because he knows that's what people are expecting. Being just honest would be telling them they can't sing and find another career. He goes way beyond that. I don't really mind it, but it bugs me that people think he's just honest and is always right, when he really isn't. And it's not like Randy and Paula are telling ppl they can sing when they can't.

He's the most genuine judge for sure. And possibly the most genuine person no TV who doesn't feel the need to put on an act. =D
