well a brain cell is a brain cell dude and studies show that alcohol kills far much more neurons than marijuana. how could you simply fix the effects of organ damage more than a different drug (thats right, alcohols a drug) that doesnt even harm you in the first place just cuz alcohols legal. what like that means they study it more?, its quite the opposite. they do far more studies on marijuana because like i said, they already know alcohol is bad for you. weed however is very questionable.
