i did this a few years back with no summons , did it on my 2nd go :) , i found evrae to be my hardest then yunalesca , got as far as jecht but never got to finish him , man is he tough lol , anyways good job for this :) i have to do this all again
@H20Sparda Yeah Evrae was pretty hard and so was Yunalesca. Thanks though. I wanted to beat him without summons be kept on attacking rikku >_> was kinda hard to do it without her lol. But grats on doing it with no aeons!
@albelnox93 yep key to evrae was finish him before he uses haste :) , yeah he went for rikku on my first try then second he attacked tidus i think so that was all good , alot of bosses are luck as well , if they target rikku constantly its pretty much over lol,
i beat jecht with summons , i wanna beat him no summons or no trio but man is he tough
@albelnox93 haha yeah he is emm wow i dunno his first half i can do but when that sword comes into it , its like 1 hit kill against the entire team , im sure it can be done but i myself dont know how it can be , i still find it funny people say you can NSG and no zanmato penance , that is just not possible :)
@H20Sparda Well i wont believe it until i see a video of that penance fight! Its impossible i think since he has far too much hp. You kill the arms and try to attack the body and he will just respawn the arms xD. Wow i tried jecht but....too much >_> i might redo this challenge one time xD?
Haha xD took me quite a few hours :( since i have to catch all the enemies in calm lands and then macalania to get 60 shining gems. If you need help ill help you ^^
I know you got to use aeons really for this, but i wanted to try beat him WITHOUT them :P
it is possible but he kept on picking on rikku before....so i thought payback xD! and then when i use an aeon he picks on yuna ¬_¬ lol.. To get the malboro just use an aeon to weaken it then capture it ^^

@H20Sparda good luck with jecht i couldnt do it, i had to use summons as well. I tried several times against this boss and all the time rikku xD

@albelnox93 haha yep penance is tough enough when you fully level up , but his arms have like 600,000 hp each no way you can take them out with a NSG

So how long did it take you to get those Shining Gems? That's what I'm stuck doing in my NSG.
Aeons are so broken in this challenge. =D
