  • nice!

but you should have cut out the vocals from the original track =/

  • @yraification I would have, but there wouldn't have been any way to do that without affecting the quality of the drums and bass, which pretty much defeats the purpose of death metal in and of itself, not to mention the underwhelming quality of the original recording.

Amazing song though, I love it. I'm trying to work more with instrumentals, but it's hard to find decent instrumentals that don't destroy the quality of the backtrack.

  • This is very neat indeed sir, can you tell me how the fuck I can do this? I have an ASUS laptop with a built in mic but I don't know if that shit's powerful enough. Also, do you use Audacity? I really want to upload some vocal covers to see if I'm any good! I think I'm okay but I'll never know until I bring this shit to the internet =] If you could let me know that'd be great man, good job -

  • @AjfromDamons lol

Nahh, that won't work, man. That little microphone wouldn't be able to handle it, especially not if you're trying to do death metal vocals. And I used to use Audacity, but now I use a recording program called Reaper for all my covers.

The first thing you gotta do, my friend, is save up some cash and invest in a decent microphone. I have a CAD usb studio mic that I use for recording my vocals right now. It was a little spendy, but it was worth every penny and more
