At 2:28 the guy with glasses mentions that, "it was really getting warm in the room with all the bodies". This concerned me for a moment, given that I thought he was going to mention the video card blowing out a lot of hot air as well.
Interestingly though, he said the card was hardly giving out any heat. I really liked that: I have two GTX590's right now make the room uncomfortably warm.
im telling you the guy @ 0:22 had an orgasm when he saw the eyefinity setup.. but the setup doesnt look so great in the video.. saw some pics on other sites (WoW)... looked great!
how about using the CoDMW2 FOV fixer? In the video you can see it's all stretched. :P
I love eyefinity. Games become so much more immersive . Too bad you've got to fight with some problems such as stretched/displaced menus/HUDs or even stretched views. I forget about the monior frames within seconds.
I have two of the same 23 inch monitors that can only clock 60 shitty hertz, and one 24inch that can clock a little higher, 75, anything less than 75 and it flickers. With sli, crossfire, or even the matrox box, do all the monitors need to be running at the same speed? If yes, then i'm fucked with a flicker :L!
This is the badest commercial i've seen this year. Da'hell i mean. It's obvious at the start that they are acting. And acting awful. So why would people belive their opinions if they know it's not their actuall toughts about that product or w/e it is. Also not many people will use this. Who actually keeps 3 monitors on one single table? The screen is too huge for gaming and it's not all in 1 display image. Those monitor lines are annoying + you just can't watch movies on panoramic display!
What if we replace those 3 monitors(with 2 annoying black margins) with a single long bended OLED monitor. Anyway, for the present, this looks quite impressing
I am impressed with how the eyefinity setup makes the single monitor setup look like child's play.
I am not, however, impressed with the price tag of such a setup. The pc itself isn't overly expensive, but $400+ for the extra monitors is a hard luxury to justify...
Another question is how many and how well games will be optimized for eyefinity. If games don't support it, it won't go anywhere.
Still, I think it looks like an awesome experience.
Ya but it looks like you can't afford a grammar check on your youtube posts. Maybe your English just sucks
Anyways your comment 1) makes no sense and 2) if you mean to say that living in Norway makes you wealthier then that just makes you one stuck up douche. It is completely irrelevant to the rest of everyone else.
BTW attending IT doesn't really make you a student. Now go eat some lutefisk and scream to your death metal you piece of Scandanavian trash.
I'm not even going to argue on the grammar... we can all see that it was horrible..
but for the last things that was mentioned... attending to IT? where do you take that from?
and btw... I don't know anyone who eats lutefisk, nor do I listen to death metal... same as I guess your not fat, and don't know the capital city in France, just because your living in America
Haha I'm sorry man. I really didn't mean any of those things. It just seemed like you were referring to the stereotype about all people from Norway being rich, so I just threw you in with two other stereotypes that I found through google.
The IT reference came from your own page, next to schools it says IT.
Is not knowing the capital of France really an american stereotype? It's just funny because my roommate this year is actually from Paris, and he's very proud of it, but anyways.
hehe, no... my point was actually that I get paid for going to school.
and btw, yes I'm studying IT (going to be an IT consulant.)
and about the capital of France... I just recalling seeing a clip from an American game show where a girl thought Paris was the capital city in Europe, so no.. not really an American stereotype
you are problably missing a part of the brain since you clearly cant understand him, and problably not me neither. Welcome to youtube you stupid american cunt, perfect grammar is for geeks. We are rich, please get over it. Life is not all about money.
"Life is not all about money"? I don't remember ever suggesting that it was. Get your facts straight dumb ass.
If by "welcome to youtube" you mean that I have to deal with people that cannot properly speak English, such as yourself, then yes you are right.
Here is an idea: If you are too poorly educated in the English language, you should not attempt to speak it. That way, the rest of us do not have to look at your moronic comments.
By the way, I agree completely that proper grammar and spelling is not necessary for Youtube.
However, if your grammar is so bad that it does not make any sense, well then that's when you need to step it up a bit.
And another thing, I don't give a damn about how rich you think you are. I bet my income is twice that of yours. My point was that an Eyefinity setup is expensive. You should try removing your head from your ass.
Very interesting!

I wonder: do ATI's card's generally run cooler?

"you only need 3 monitors" lol...

@feerof
Well, monitors are relatively cheap, no? Plus they aren't something you upgrade as often as another component, only when they break.

i guess... i mean if you're going to invest 400 + bucks into a 4870 then i guess 3 monitors are cheap... i ono.
