Banks in Costa Rica are now operating a scam against Gringo Pensionados. To simply transfer $1,000 between a scotiabank in Canada to a Scotiabank in Costa Rica now costs $55. per month. Being forced to pay $55. each and every month to stimply transfer between two Scotiabanks is a Costa Rica bank scam against elderly Gringos.

while you guys talk about how great is to live inCR like if this place belong to you. Many costaricans are waiting for the new imigration, counter terrorrism and fiscal reform laws to be heard and aproved in congress this year so that we CR can sleep much better knowing that less foreigners would not make it to CR
Hi Bradley, Oh boy! I expected a lot from your book after watching ALL of your videos and even danced along with you at the end of one. LOL But after reading through some parts I'm extremely shocked! So much incredible detail and value on every page! You are a true giver and a huge asset for ANYONE serious about escaping to Costa Rica for travel, investment, retirement and more. Thanks a million Bradley -Nancy Redford P.S. It's too darn cheap so raise that price!
I contacted Brad before reading the book, and found him to be quite prompt (same day service) in his reply...at Christmas time, no less:). He has been helpful in answering my questions regarding starting my business down there. I found the book to be helpful in certain areas and am definitely planning a trip there in February and look forward to exploring, more, the possibility of moving to CR!
I've been looking for a place to retire on just Social Security and after reading this book, I'm convinced that Costa Rica is the place to go. Easily read and understood, I'd highly recommend Bradley's book. Everything you need to know is in there (and more). Thank you Mr. Smith. You convinced me...
This is a great book for anyone considering Costa Rican property. Brad's writing style is easy to understand and I found the transaction examples to be very helpful. I would highly reccomend this book! My wife and I plan on a trip to Costa Rica in the very near future and will definitely check out the possibilities of part time residency and contact Brad for his input and assistance on property acquisition should we decide to purchase.
I just finished reading Brad's book and found it very informative and interesting; I also have had contact with Brad via E=Mail and found him very helpful and very prompt in replying to my questions, I am betting he is as nice when I meet him in person, buy the book jf your thinking about Costa Rica
My wife and I are from Canada and have lived for 2 years now in Costa Rica and really like our life down here. It's definitely a lot more reasonable to live here and especially to retire. Looking forward to reading your book.

Brad is a heck of a guy and knows his stuff. We'd suggest his book to anyone making a move. We've lived in CR for 2.5 years now and love it!
