  • i know he is of greek origin, but its still quite impressive that he understands greek! or have i been fooled by the editing? :O

  • Does he speak and understand Greek or is it translated for him???

  • George is ace.. p.s. we're all racist on some level.. I'm half greek and old greeks don't like me bc I don't "look greek' i've been told.. wtf? *shrugs.. idiots rather not racists

  • @angelrecieving Greeks are not racist however are very proud of their nationality almost to a fault. "there are Greeks and then there are everyone else"(xeni).

  • Italians are racist???? u joking?

  • I prefer greeks to any of the other mediterranean people because they are less racist. Italians and spanish are very racist but the greeks are very warm and friendly.

Maybe it's because the greeks have more culture and don't or haven't seen colour as a issue, i don't think i've ever met a racist greek!! Oh and i love george michael and i'm not greek by the way haha!!

  • You'd be unpleasantly surprised to find out that a political party with close connections to neo-nazi groups is becoming increasingly popular in Greece, partly because the mainstream media have whitewashed its members.

  • Spoken like a true racist... Look in the mirror, All racists have a good reason to hate-

  • He still beautiful!!

  • Thank you Geogre for the 80's!!!

  • What I really find hillarious is when non Greeks come on these web sites just to Greek bash. I believe YOU are all bigots and are no better than a redneck. Fuck off Greek haters!!!! Greek people do NOT respond to this negativity, let these losers keep fighting themselves over it.

  • Hey. What's wrong with Greeks? Greeks are the first people to unapologetically make shit cool. Greeks are so damn awesome that the Romans imitated them. Greeks rule.

  • you said it very well :)

  • @kdoggaaa Jealousy mate

  • @kdoggaaa All critics are Turks ;)

  • most of the indo-european languages come from, or are related to greek. the basque, and the finnish language btw, is part of a pre-indo-european language, that has been 'pushed'to remote corners of the european map by the then newcomers like the nomadic celts and their languages. the same happened again with the celts when the germanic and latin speaking people flooded europe, that's why celtic is only spoken in the areas of europe that are litteraly on the outskirts of the map.

  • actually the greek language is one of the oldest languages of the world(and alphabets)and what you speak now has roots in the greek language. If im wrong tell me!

  • you are very wrong, it's an old language (and it's "independant" from other languages b/c the greeks were racist). greek is far from being the oldest or one of the oldest....look it up in any linguistic book!

  • Oh ... I get it now.

    You're jealous!

And despite your "no racism" name and all your hot air, you are, in the end...

    ....a RACIST!!

  • Say what?

The Greeks "Just made up a language"!?

Honey, the Greeks just laid down the groundwork for civilization, and the language is one of the cornerstones. And so many other languages--including your own English--borrow from its roots.

    Calling the Greeks wierdos?

LOL! You're quite alone in that, silly.

  • if YOU CHECK DEEP IN YOUR OWN ENGLISH YOU WILL FIND OUT THAT THEY WILL BECOME GREEK! YOU DUMMY

  • @noracism11 for all you in here arguing just google the words "greek language wikipedia" and all your questions will be answered

  • Thanks for posting this. I live in Chicago, USA. I love Greece and was in Athens in Feb. 'o8. I wish I was there when George was. eFARISTO!

  • Does he understand Greek? Maybe his father taught him to speak...

  • Kristy Wark Interview with George (it's on YouTube just pop her name w/his) he explains he doesn't speak Greek - only knows a few curse words - it's a great interview

  • ...do I understand correctly: George understands the questions in Greek? I never knew he's that proficient in the language of his father..
