ouch dude but it cant be as bad as mine! i live in montana and we have a thing called the rims about a 100-200 foot drop and it was goin and the failsafe got broken or something and it took off from the rims when i found it the dang thing was in a good 10 large pieces. the good part i found it from the engine still running! haha
I let it Idle through the first tank, then I drove it at 1/4 throttle for 1 tank, then 1/2 throttle for 2 tanks, and then 3/4 throttle for 2 tanks. After each tank, I put the motor at bottom dead center and let it cool before the next tank. I also use nitro that has some additive in it so you don't use after run oil. It works great, it's called Backyard Basher. My motor looks great on the inside and it is still tight after a gallon of it and I haven't used a drop of after run oil!
I haven't changed out my pipe yet, but I did take the baffle out because it melted and plugged the exhaust. I t doesn't run any better with the baffle removed, so I am going to get another pipe.
I found mine on Ebay and bought the starter kit with it and it cost me about $200 with shipping. If you get one, i would recommend getting the single gear tranny and a HPI 13 tooth clutchbell and change out the exhaust, because the baffle inside of the stock one tends to melt and plug the exhaust.
This is my first RC, so I really have no idea. I don't see why they wouldn't with a few upgrades. I just ordered a different tranny from clermont motor sport. It has only one gear in the tranny instead of 5 like the one that it comes with and it is direct drive, so no slipper clutch and you get a 13 tooth vented clutch bell. I will let you know how it works out.
Nice! Yours is actually the first one I clicked on...got lucky :) I may have some editing software around here somewhere...I'll look for you... The slow mo is awesome!
Awesome vid...I've been considering one of these as an entry level into the nitro r/c world and you're definitely helping me make up my mind! Any other vids of your volcano?
Not yet! These things are incredible for the price. This is my first RC and I didn't want to spend alot of money so I bought the Volcano and will probably stick with Redcat Racing. You can use some of the upgrades from other companies on these also. There is a forum that is full of info that you can get to from their website. I'll let you know when I make another vid.
Have you blown the front or rear differential more than once? Mine went out too and I haven't had it very long.

The 1st jump was the best

That was actually one of the last jumps! When I edited it, I thought it would be best to have that one first. I am glad you liked it.

Thank you! The writing is the name of the software I used to edit the video. It was a trial subscription so I couldn't remove it.
