You can buy Time Cards for ~300,000,000 ISK (not that much for an experienced player), or for $15-$20. It's an alternative to pay-to-play problem, and a solution to the "I need more ISK" problem.
@Megarith1to3 See the answer is to let EVE suck away your life for a couple months and play enough to generate enough ISK to buy GTCs. Eventually you can get into a 0.0 corp/alliance and generate enough ISK for a GTC in two days of ratting and complex running. I haven't used real money to play EVE in a couple years.
