  • Mao Zedong was a petty-bourgeois fuck. His goal was to turn China into a world superpower - he did not give a fuck about the working class.

  • @LiberalJerseyman Mao organized the greatest peasant revolt ever seen, standardized farm tools and language (known in the west as "scientific management"), created the barefoot doctors program to treat the peasantry, defended the country against Japanese invasion, united and modernized China into the fastest growing superpower, all by supporting the peasantry and national self-sufficiency. please justify your claim that Mao "did not give a fuck about the working class".

  • @truthslap Mao was one of the greatest revisionists ever. He led China to become a state-capitalist shithole and constantly pandered to the imperialist West.

  • @LiberalJerseyman wrong, Mao's China was communist, but Deng turned China into state-capitalism, which is still along the transition spectrum towards communism in marxist theory. when did Mao ever pander to the West? name one example.

  • @truthslap His visit with Nixon??

  • @LiberalJerseyman Nixon went to China, Mao didn't come to America. Nixon kowtowing to Mao is hardly an example of Mao "pandering to the West".

  • @truthslap Mao would have had Deng executed as a Capitalist Roader. You can try to fit - like a revisionist - the State Capitalism phase (which has been almost as horrendous as the Maoist phase..just look at Linfen and Shenzhen!) - into Marxist theory, but it doesn't work because bourgeois capitalism--not CCP Fascism--should precede Socialist revolution.

Mao instituted Stalinism, which - of the many, many ways of instituting socialism or socialist principles - is surely the worst.

  • @musicalidea you're right that Mao would have seriously disapproved of Deng's reforms, but there are a few issues you raise that I'm not sure is correct. for example, Maoism was nothing like Stalininsm, the former was a peasant's revolt (a true proletariat revolution) while the latter was a development race. Stalinism should be considered a form of State Capitalism; there was severely unequal distribution of food, extensive conscripted penal labor, he starved the countryside, etc.

  • @musicalidea I've often heard Linfen is one of the most horribly polluted cities in the world, but what's wrong with Shenzhen, I'd always heard they were nearly as successful as Hong Kong? I'm not familiar with how they are administratively run, but I've always heard Shenzhen was a free-trade economy zone, not a state-economy?

  • @truthslap You seem to know little about contemporary Chinese labor relations - which are nothing less than boiling at the seams and outright horrendous - much of which centers in Guangdong and other southern provinces with a lot of SARs - Shenzhen, Chongqing, etc. Aside from slave factories, the pollution in Shenzhen is unbearably awful as well. The police state now actually far more pervasive than it was under Mao, but without all the bloodshed & forced ideological drills.

  • @musicalidea Furthermore, Maoism borrowed a great deal from Stalinism - esp. during the1st 2 five year plans - & differed later only in its industrial allocation methods. Both had personality cult, thought police & autocracy. U claimed of Stalin: "there was severely unequal distribution of food, extensive conscripted penal labor, he starved the countryside." China from 58-75 was even worse in EACH of these areas. Think Great Famine of 59-61, think massive forced labor & re-ed camps.

  • MAo is a piece of garbage and left a dark shadow on the good chinese but is the reason many are still bad

  • @kloacutlake I agree. Mao was a horrible stain on China, the 20th century in general and, along with Stalin & Pol Pot (the latter of which was funded by the US with 10s of millions of $), did more to ruin the public image of Communism than anything else. There are so many creative ways to share prosperity in an equitable manner, so many ingenious methods of providing a for-use rather than a for-profit economy. The Communist autocrats pretty much trashcanned the PR for all of this.

  • @musicalidea I am rather ignorant about contemporary Chinese labor, I'd just assumed that with such incredibly paced growth and world-market domination the Chinese people would be sharing in the prosperity. your comment that there must be more intelligent methods for building a need-based economy than Maoism gave me alot to think about, you're probably right it could have been done better, but I don't think it was a failure overall, it improved the lives of millions of peasants.

  • the biggest brain washing piece shit communst has existed the asain hitler who wipe out half the Chinese popultion at that time and killed alot tibeatan monks so all of your guys prasing this fucking piece shit go read a book learn some facts about then come say some stupid communst stuff

  • @MrDubstep112 lol the US had slavery and wiped out the indians, Mao is his 20-30 years of leading china stopped slavery while US slavery was legal in their 100th year, most death were caused by famine which not a lot of people can stop dued to a big population but he can't run a country as well as most people but the great leap forward was the really the only year where most people died of famine not him and Tibetans have a better life then b4

  • @ihavesomerice I agree with everything except your last sentence, it is not correct to say that Tibetans have a better life than before. 1/5th of the Tibetan population, that's around 1.2 million people, were killed directly by the Chinese invasion. I support maoism and mao zedong thought, but we should not lie about the ongoing mistreatment of the Tibetans.

  • To all the illiterate posters on YouTube. Please do not type 'your' when what you meant to type was 'you're'. For all the dullards out there your is the possessive form of you. You're is a contraction of you are. I apologize but it's really annoying. Every other post has this mistake.

  • @Kroban3 Thanks for the English lesson. I rely, for my education, upon people like you with a flair for pointing out the obvious.

  • 1:02 pretty good music actually

  • I love the song, it's great to hum when you sit at the bog.

  • If you not go I maybe kill you and call you an enemy of the revolution

  • wasnt Deng the capitalist the reak hero

  • @AlienBusDriver not really... he turned China into one big sweatshop...

  • @thatkindofguy234 yes, the fastest growing economy for the last 30 years is completly based on sweatshirts, that's your communist mate because your a dumb fuck and will never ascend through life in a battle of wills and intellects hence you turn to communism.

  • @AlienBusDriver are you a retard?... look at plastic toys, clothes, phones and many more objects. They all say "made in China on". The people who work in these factories work in fucking terrible conditions and up to 20 hours a day for a small amount of money. The term sweatshop is simply used as word to descibe a factory in which workers work in poor conditions and pay a very low wage. You cant make a valid argument so you restort to turn to abuse. I think your the dumb fuck ;)

  • @thatkindofguy234 the FUCKING chinese unionist that lives in the UK knows more about sweatshop conditions in China than the average man!!! Tell me you stupid you stupid fucking dead dog, have you ever heard of the world economy, live standards, doller appreciations, resources, macro economic conditions, micro economic conditions? No of course you havent because you are a stupid commy, I bet my life you live off the government in a poor area of the UK

  • @AlienBusDriver your a bit retarded aren't you? there are these things called videos, humans, the internet, books, TV and pictures... they can all be used to gather information. Oh and because it's the way of the capitalist economy, there is no problem what so ever about people suffering, starving and dying then... makes total sense...

  • They video resembles quite a good editing techniques and all that happy socialist climax creating skills. What a shame that there's nothing beautiful about the regime itself.

  • god bless mao

  • CHING CHONG CHINA MAN WENT TO MILK A COW, CHING CHONG CHINAMAN DIDNT KNOW HOW, CHINA CHONG CHINA MAN PULLED A LONG TIT, CHING CHONG CHINA MAN WAS COVERED IN SHIT.

  • @fypong Don't forget Mao's third world mentality. He helped nations like North Korea and Vietnam that became burden. Now the Viet dogs dare to challenge China and antagonize it. Should've let the French keep Indochina.

  • @fypong Hey wake fucking up! where did China get the OPIUM ENGLAND

  • 幸好他过了几年就死了

  • 毛主席万岁!

  • 毛泽东和希特勒没什么区别。

  • 残害几亿中国人! 毛贼,你去死吧!

  • Communists are horrible swine; all Communists, to include Mao Zeshlong.

  • @fypong Excellent points you've made, reminds me of Maos push for iron and steel and how everyone neglected the fields to make garbage-metals instead. You're right, to not employ the strengths and talents of people so they could get "re-educated" was ridiculous and wasteful.

  • I prefer Deng Xiao Ping than Mao Zedong..

  • Drooling homocidal lunatic had a hand in murdering some 67 million people. An entire separate nation was formulated in order to live as people should; independent captains of their own destinies. Maos policies of forced collectives, state-controlled economy, excessive military expenditures, the entire Great Leap Forward, cost millions of lives. His Cultural Revolution fomented a generation of ingrates of such mechanical thinking he had to use the military to quell it. Communism is only deadly.

  • u never understand Mao without a understanding of Chinese culture as well as Chinese history.

  • Please can someone tell me the name of the song? I've been searching for about an hour and this is my last hope!

  • @MajorHalman It's called 血染的风采 (xuèrǎn de fēngcǎi)

  • @lawro1987 Thank you so much!

  • he was smart.

    but an asshole.

  • I have done a little research on Mao and it seems that the actual estimate for the deaths that Mao caused is between 33 - 35 million. Should he really be blaimed for all of the 30 million who were killed in the cultural revolution? all Mao really did was influence the people. It's like the saying "if he told you to jump of a cliff would you do it?". I don't deny Mao was responsible for the deaths in great leap forward though. I am a communist but I'm not afraid to admit the mistakes we have made

  • I hope he Likes it down in Hell :).

  • @chickenwretch the problem, is that in your capitalist country ( as i have noticed from your very anti-china tone)

your leaders also have murdered tons of people. Think about the black people being segregated. so don't be so hypocrytical to think what you are saying is correct. Capitalism and communism have failed equally. I'm no communist or maoist, I hate all ideologies because they aren't what ALL the people want. So please fuck of capitalist pig!!! :D

  • @N00btuberXXX Seriously, these guys will never sit down and add up every civilian casualty caused by American presidents, but they'll do it to other countries/leaders that they dont agree with politically. How many people is Bush jr responsible for killing through his policy? How many is Obama going for ? Bill Clinton , Bush Sr. etc etc all have body counts worthy of any despot

  • @chickenwretch He is being applauded because he won the civil war to unite China and helped defeat the Japanese. Mao is China's George Washington, hes the founder of the modern country.

  • @akaMouse Fair enough, content with the fact that George didn't allow millions to perish in the GreatLeapForward or its corrective measure in the CulturalRevolution. Also a part of Maos legacy. But Washington had a slave so the moral equivolence has levelled the field, right?

  • @chickenwretch I'm not trying to defend Mao here, but Washington was responsible for many murders himself. What was done to native americans is just as bad in my opinion. I'd consider that a moral equivalence. It seems most Americans do not see it this way though.

  • @psychosis420 Point taken although GW was not liable for the future plight of the Indian, these events occured sometime later. Killing a military opponent in war isn't considered murder, but that's debateable. What I'm saying is Maos willful policies led to horrendous loss of lives during his lifetime and by the time of the Cultural Revolution, he was vicariously toying with social/economic engineering. Pro-Bolshevik sophistry will not accept historical accountability while blaming red herrings.

  • @chickenwretch The people that died during the great leap forward died of famine. Famine was not unusual in China. Not to mention that the goal of the Great Leap was not to starve people. It was bad policy, mistakes, incompetence, corruption at different levels.. The government at the time even admitted this! A big part of the problem was partly due to the fact that there was a severe draught for a few years. But acting like Mao ordered the deaths of 50 million people is stupid.

  • @akaMouse To omit the fact that forced collectivication, which proved disasterous in Soviet Union, had no part to play in deaths, is also stupid. Also aware of the fact that Stalin, like Mao, excercised this drought excuse very conveniently. Explain Maos reason for Cultural Revolution, and how he continued to incite rage in the youth, for his own purposes.

  • @chickenwretch

"The United States is the world's number one superpower, and the American people, they're very simple people," - Wang Qishan

meaning American people's thinking are very straightforward, so black and white and no shades of grey.

However the world we live in is never that black or that white.

  • @twenlil Can't argue with that statement and might add, in a corrupt world corrupt choices must be made. The extent of harm or evil choices rendered should never exceed the a formula designed to correct. If colonial slavery was wrong and demoralizing how much more were the policies of Maos to right these wrongs. A moral equivolence neglects singular, individual lives, that the formerly Christian West, attached a greater value than materialistic/Marxist regimes had. Numbers of lives matter.

  • @chickenwretch I don't know what to think about Mao. He seems to have his pros and cons. However, I find it difficult to beleive that Mao was as bad as the west claims. The Chinese people seem to worship him like a good when you see footage of his speeches, before and after the "great leap forward".

  • @thatkindofguy234 I understand your position about his legacy, but history of his era has been well documented from many sources including Chinese and Western ones. Maos fame is much like Stalins adulations, a nostalgia and recognition of these 2 for their accomplishments in bringing their peoples into the 20th century. In Maos case it can be said that he did indeed throw off the shackles, and shame, of colonialism. However, greatness and good can be attained without wholesale slaughter/hunger.

  • @chickenwretch

It shows you don't understand China and the Chinese.

  • @twenlil Your comment does not reflect positively on Chinese people, to imply only they appreciate Maos mass killings; very racist indeed.

  • YOUR ALL BRAINWASHED

  • @chickenwretch now in short i know your going to say what about the cultural revolution or the great leap forward.well i could go into detail but it would take a long time so luckily i found videos of each that explain "On The Cultural Revolution","Mao's Famine Debunked"and "Did Mao Really Kill Millions in the Great Leap Forward?",yes he is a com but what he says basically debunks those old media propaganda bs like the other media bs of america fights for freedom huh tell that to the ancestors

  • @cooks1234 In view of your comment I'm counted fortunate not to rely on American/British sources only. But do tell me more of your "lone ranger" sources and their independent findings. If historical facts can be seen as a river flowing to the sea of truth, your claims would prove weary for their upstream climb. Think I'll remain persuaded by distasteful facts, slaps of reality that send fantasy reeling. 14 thumbs up says it all, see ya.

  • @chickenwretch I some respects, our countries have kind of had great leaps forward otherwise known as industrial revolutions. Millions died in these also, here in Britain 2 in 5 children were not expected to reach the age of 5. Not saying we should support Mao but I think the western world should aknowledge this too.

  • @chickenwretch @thatkindofguy234 You said China's economy is based on sweatshops. I proved that is wrong ever heard of anytghing called resources? You start talking about sweat shop conditions off-topic and frankly no one really cares what a United Kingdom man imagines sweatshop conditions to be in another country. Your not making a counter you lost commyfuck, your just chance the subject you doggy cunt.

  • @AlienBusDriver I think you've got me confused with someone else. I'm as rabidly anticommunist as you appear to be. Check it out seriously. I've never said anything about a sweatshop and if was asked about it I'd say good, they have a job that pays more than their fellow citizens.

  • @chickenwretch though just for the heck of it if you are wondering why mao is applauded well i explain in short why.before mao slavery existed there even under the bhuddist lama, china had a huge drug problem, famines occured, womens rights were terrible, healthcare didnt really exist, neither did public education, china was pretty much like other parts of the world back then and today mistreated as a colony.when mao came in he undid alot of the examples i gave.look it up

  • @chickenwretch no you are the ignorant one.communism why dont you open a book and learn what you are talking about instead of believing the media.20th century lesson no those who were and are still here in what is named after amerigo vespucci aka america are the real history lesson at how communism works we had a better living standard than before those illegal immigrants got here and forced capitalism on us.i mean real capitalism not that mixed economy stuff media always says is capitalist

  • @cooks1234 You assume much. Because I don't agree with your brainwashed communism doesn't mean I don't read. I just don't read your bullshit. You sound confused comrade, ponder before posting.; rhetoric is not clear thinking. You're not going to set the world ablaze with tepid remarks about something you're not versed about. Quit looking at pictures in your communist comic magazines, sounds like you're taking these childish illustrations too seriously. Fuck off too, OK?

  • @chickenwretch actually i dont assume i read.to give source look up author mobo gao as he lived through it and you would have to research chinas history from at least the opium wars with britain.btw i used to be a right winger so yeah ive heard about the horrors ofchina but i unlike most people view sources not source.so ive done research on this and not sit on acouch and turn on fox news which has been debunked and proven to be propaganda just here on youtube there are many videos of that

  • @chickenwretch also i dont read magazines/never subcribed.finally "ponder before posting.; rhetoric is not clear thinking"take your own advice bye

  • @cooks1234 Appears my clear thinking has derailed your preconceived ignorant notions, not facts. What role does FoxNews play in this thread? Nothing, except a partisan streak you've injected to it. Boasting of your "scholarly qualifications" and you can't stay on topic? No my boy, you are not fooling anyone except perhaps another fool. When one must stoop to plagarize from their opponent, not only are they intellectually disqualified but have also conceded victory to their superiors.Thats me btw

  • Mao did much for China, that is not disputed. But he was cruel, and a monster...like Stalin.

  • @PullMyPeeper If China had not had a leader like Mao, they would still be exploited by the West and Japan. I'm British (and white, not Chinese), but i admire Chairman Mao greatly for the good things he did for his country

  • @TalonMercenary

Yes he did a fantastic job of murdering the only people who knew how to run the country and feed the population, and also turning China into a repressive country that was in economic ruins until Deng Xiaoping. Go back to your art class commie kid.

  • @JesusDiedROFL Read my comment again you moron and you will see what i'm saying

  • whats the name of this song??

  • @stalinwasright You've the insight of a braindead baboon or one born to be caught and discarded. Use reason to dissemble reason? More akin to hysteria than logic. Don't worry about what I say, learn to tie your own shoelaces first. And then breath, it's good for you.

  • @stalinwasright A hero to the living or the dead? He despised Stalin and considered Khrushev a bufoon and counter-revolutionary. Anymore "intelligent" points to make?

  • @chickenwretch Capitalism kills more people in a year than any communist "dictator" has.... you are blaiming a person for a system...

  • @thatkindofguy234 Incorrect from the start, there's no provable evidence of a notion known as "communism" having been recorded. It's all been theory therefore, relegated to the realm of "faith." True, this drooling meglomaniac Mao used Marxist/Leninist rhetoric but they also were theoriticians. What have we then to show for "communism"? Genocide, racism, environmental disaster, crippled, dependent generations unable to assimilate into free markets, one-party rule, etc. Fine in theory, like dreams

  • I am not Chinese. When I visited China, I spoke to a old lady in China and asked her whether she likes Mao. She said she doesn't worship him as such, but he did many things which improved the life of the poor. They did not have anything; not enough food, clothes or shelter, but when Mao came to power he changed things and they could afford a better lifestyle. I personally know her family, and have lived in their house, so know that they came from a very poor background.

  • @chickenwretch

    LOL

    Waitin' on that evidence dipshit

  • @AtheismCentral Too stupid or blind to recognize the troublesome data? Take another bong hit I'm certain that will manage your sclerotic idiocy.

  • what sauce do Chinese like the most?

    it's MAOyonnaise

  • Mao is the hero of all hero. He maybe gone but his IDEAS and PHILOSOPHIES lives on with mankind and will live on for eternity. His ideas and philosophies are true yesterday, today, tomorrow and for eternity.... Mao a great hero!!!!

  • You people make me disgust me! Mao was a dictator comparable to Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin with a death toll surpassing both. He caused over 70 million deaths and openly admitted that he would willingly sacrifice half of China population in order to feed the other half. He is an outright mass murderer and should be treated as such. Although I am not Chinese I feel the pain of many of your fallen countrymen. And to you Mao Zedong I say this, "Go fuck yourself you grubby scumbag! Burn in hell"

  • Mao was a fool who fell in love with his own legend, became surrounded by his own personality cult and ended up being responsible for the deaths of some 50 million people, cultural genocide, churned out bullshit with his propaganda machine, caused irreparable damage to the natural world and various other crimes against humanity.

  • COMUNISMO, la mejor ideologia del mundo!!!!

  • assassino bestia vergonati animale

  • mao zedong, un asesino, un corrupto y un comunista de mierda que de seguro esta pagando todos sus pecados en quiza donde. viejo de mierda, le arruino la vida a los chinos implantando el comunismo.

  • @justacondom and not only him. stalin, fidel castro... When there's no freedom, there's no socialism in my opinion. I believe that true socialism never existed

  • @youHectorKL

Well, some aspects of socialism are being achieved right now....look at Northern European nations, very well coverd welfare and the difference between the rich and the poor is not great either. But all of those came from Capitalistic development......I hope to see more....it's possible.

  • @08750876 Yes you can, the British gave it back; though they never had intention to. The Chinese people stood up and doesn't acknowledge any unequal treaties.

  • @Jachzehn mao is a son of a bitch

  • 这首歌很好听,很煽情,但毛主席功过还是对半看吧。

  • 凶手!

  • 毛主席万岁!

  • not an opinion!

  • but hey this is a fact communist is bad!

  • The true Hero of the Peoples Republic of China is Liu nu! He who stood up against Mao and stoped the madness Mao caused. I honestly belive that Mao would have killed 80% of the Chinese population before accepting failure if he wasnt stoped by Liu.

  • I am glad to see some voice of reason from actuall Chinese in these comments

  • 一個毛主席狗命~~換了數百萬中國人的一生幸福!!!

  • does anybody know the name to the somg after the footage of Mao at the Congress

  • Ok , I know that 你们不走,我也不走 means If you're not going, I'll also not go but I don't know what he was implying...Anyone knows?

  • I heard this guy killed 78000000 people, why are there people saying things like 'Chairman Mao will always be in our hearts'?

  • @paulalexanderbell Cuz those who said it were not rlated to the 78000000 .

  • @paulalexanderbell what credible source said Mao killed 78 million people, I'd like to see it try to back it up with numbers. Mao defended, liberated and modernized China, you need to at least attempt to look at the history from non-biased sources, you might understand why Chairman Mao is still in the hearts of most Chinese people.

  • @truthslap i dont know, just saying what i saw on an infographic once. I don't think someone can have accusations like that stick if it weren't somewhere close to being true. i admit i don't know the history, he may of been the greatest man who ever lived for all i know.

  • i met mao zedons dead body in tien an men beijin...

  • @Tyippe99 Yeah I just was under some stress when I posted this so that comment is just out of anger

  • @Tyippe99 Yeah and this was opinion not fact

  • @Tyippe99

killed more people? are you stupid or just trolling? mao killed far more people than hitler

  • @millee91 ya he did i found that out later. But seriously why'd u bother to reply to a comment that was posted 2 months ago?

  • @ParanoidMastermind ok maybe hitler killed more...
