saltyseaweed, i don't agree with you. Aikido has practical solutions aswell as any other martial art. It is not a dance, it is a martial art with technique and strategy although training method differs from many other arts. Everywhere people keep dissing the art which is a shame. But as an aikidoka, being the underdog in discussions suits me fine. As for the video, very nice ashiwaza technique, have to try few of these myself.

Well, what distinguishes judo from jujutsu is emphasis on kuzushi and randori in addition to some spiritual aspects. The distinction is somewhat subtle and not really technique-based (although Kano did modify some techniques to be more randori friendly).
