  • Where do we go from here? ..

  • @ZipperProject the same exact question has been echoing in my mind for some days now... what is to be done? Sometimes I get so bored, and horrified of being bored. Where do I go? What should I do? I have no clue. And you?

  • @ZipperProject After quite some time wondering the same, I'm now setting up an art-collective with friends and young creatives, creating media & art projects that support global progressive positive causes. Likeminded young persons creating art and media projects with a message together, united through a website that we are now building :) Do you have an idea of your own?

  • See what everyone has to understand is these two men took very different approaches to enlightenment. Ofcourse Mckenna for a second tried to endulge in India and realized the corruption and hype of pseduo indian gurus which Ram Daas didnt. Which took McKenna to a more earthy approach to South America and made him look into what was important. The benefits of psychedelics.

  • "Business as usual" huh? Terence is fine on who's money? YOUR money!

  • Great post! Sad part is only 3,535 views. More heads should know these guys & there work.

  • "My work is to keep shutting up" from the man who completely dominated this conversation and made Terrance Mckenna (a vastly superior intellect) his interviewer for 30 minutes.

  • lol that is the funniest waiter ever xD

  • the waiter was the coolest of them all

  • why does it matter how you get there, it seems like people who find imperfections in road to seeking truth are focusing on the wrong thing, i see this as a possible 'distraction' or 'test' for lack of a better word.

  • the waiter's great! How come nobody says a thing down here about him?

God bless Ram Dass, I like Mckenna a lot but I sometimes think he's a bit too rational...I prefer to sense things with my heart, then I get the right answer most of the time.

    Love, light and peace

  • Terrence Mckenna sounds like Bill Gates :D Lol! :D

  • Use your ego/body like you use water. You drink it, your refreshed and you move on. You don't stop to wonder why the water is quenching your thirst. It's pure expression.

  • The ego and body are absolutely necessary for the unconscious mind to distinguish the right course of action. You are not here to make a choice, you are here to understand why you made it. Attaching to the ego and body is fatal for the mind and all that are present under the same assumption.

  • Make the slightest distinction, and heaven and earth are set infinitly apart. Rather than judge them or try to get in their heads, why not just see the conversation as it is than when the time comes to analyze, analyze. It's just that simple. The greatest irony is the simplicity of I AM and the complexity of our external world.

  • Terence seems to be going out of his way to be tolerant and positive about Richard's holy-holy guru bullshit. Terence strikes me as a very real sort of person, while Richard strikes me as a fake and a fraud. Terence is just too polite to call him on it.

  • @luv2bud

i think youre paranoid brother, i find him genuinely nice and meaning what he says. he just likes to speak more whimsical perhaps? he makes his point that way, and i hear him.

  • I agree Terrence was being very polite, it seems like Richard has to think for a second before he comes back with a good debatable answer. He tends to dismiss psychedelics now cause hes over it.

  • @Psychedelic925 Do you think so? He's got plenty of bits from his lectures so I dont think he really needs to fish for things to say. Furthermore, he doesn't dismiss psychedelics at all - he said he believes that they're a miracle! Clearly both men have heard what the psychedelics are saying, they're both very experienced. It seems that the difference between the two men is the ego factor. Terence still has a robust ego whereas Alpert's has been dismantled bit by bit. Terence didn't go far enuf!

  • @MarginWaIker When it comes down to it, its the capacity and fullest potential of psychedelics. The frequent 2000 year use of psychedelics amongst our ancients wasnt something they eventually stop doing because theyre older and they dont find any use in it. Its the potential that made our early civilizations thrive, invent and become aware of higher consciousness that enabled them to realize their own existence and ability to comprehend planets that take us till the late 1800s to even discover.

  • these cats are cool, who will be the new breed??

  • Our mistakes from the 60's were idealism and that we created ourself as a them.
