  • O'Reilly is a paid puppet he says what he's told to say. Heaven exists but hell is a self imposed state of separation from the divine (whatever that is), the result of our guilt. As it's self imposed we can re-connect by forgiving ourselves. How can eternal love damn any spirit for "ETERNITY" while it expects us to forgive one another. Do as I say not as I do? I don't think so.

    Fire & Brimstone. Bah humbug!

The Church's depiction of Hell is for controlling the masses, so we fear authority .

  • O'reilly and his guest are missing this verse in Quran which says:

[2:62] Surely, those who believe, those who are Jewish, the Christians, and the converts; anyone who (1) believes in GOD, and (2) believes in the Last Day, and (3) leads a righteous life, will receive their recompense from their Lord. They have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.

  • @SIMPLEMAIL2004 None of us has anything to fear, God doesn't condemn us. WE DO. Hell is no more than an invention by the Church (all of them) to frighten us into obeying authority, Islam being the worst (maybe because it's fresh in our collective memory) as it's merely the invention of one man using his so called "visions" as a means of justifying his craving for power, blood and sex.

We must be able to think critically, especially when it comes to, so called, "holy books" written by "men".

  • youtube.com/user/thescariestmovieever

  • Did they just show a depiction of the prophet Mohammed at 3:55? lol

  • The reason we have all these theories is because of the chemical workings of the brain. The Pineal gland is what is referred to as out third eye. In deep sleep it releases a chemical called Dimethlytriptamine (DMT), this chemical is also released during the most stressful time of your life (ie. death). It is the second most powerful psychoactive substance known to man. DMT acts like other psychedelics, it creates a oneness and a sense of love and belief and facilitates the transition.

  • we are saved by grace not by works.

  • the biggest sin of all are those who cast Confusion among us so unless you really know the truth one should keep there mouths closed there are just to many religions of the world claiming to be the one and only one of god to me casting confusion would make you part of the world problems just my thoughts

  • @RoyElvisBand -These are my favorite quotes from the Bible. Showing God's undeniable love for humanity and extreme care for young mothers, children and babies, enjoy:

The LORD commands: “Kill without showing pity or compassion. Slaughter old men, young men and maidens, women and children”

    — Ezekiel 9:5-6

They will fall by the sword: their little ones will be dashed to the ground, their pregnant women ripped open.

    — Hosea 13:16

  • @christianitymustfall

im sorry but you took the first and second verses out of contexts

Ezekiel is prophesying about the latter days or the apocalypse as its commonly known

and also took Hosea out of contexts he also is prophesying that they will be killed by in invading army. read the full chapter don't just chop the verses

  • @MrSiklon762-These are salient aspects of your fable and superstition. They are the direct orders of your delusion god. Let me ask you, you fucking moron, in what context would you slaughter women and children, or dash babies against rocks. Your stories are open for all to read, it takes a moron, such as yourself to interpret them in favor and defense of your god delusion. You are a child, pathetic, stultified and what is worse boring.

  • @christianitymustfall

why are offended is it because you don't read the whole bible and truly don't understand. Or is it because you want to disprove God so you can live in your sin?

  • @MrSiklon762, once again rely on a christian to not pay attention to the argument and slump to ad hominems.

  • @christianitymustfall

yes i understand your argument but you are clearly not understanding that you have token them out of contexts and that they where prophesying of what was soon to happen.

Let me ask you a question why do go on trying to supposedly disprove God?

What personal gain do you achieve in this?

  • @MrSiklon762-Religion is a delusion. Those who follow and act on the words of their long dead cultist prophets or messiahs effect the lives of every fucking living individual. War, politics, genocide, legal stratagem-all are put forward in waves by the brainwashed, superstitious, fable loving morons, who believe they have a duty to their god delusion to commit whatever actions their long dead god has told them to do, today. Wake the fuck up. Or stay in your fucking fairytale.

  • @christianitymustfall

what about Atheist Hitler was a big atheist and look what he caused he also supposedly brainwashed people waged war and killed hundreds of people all for what, for the so called super race.

Look if you what to reject Jesus and go to hell then ok, but let others believe the truth.

Let ask you one more question because you didn't answer my first question what do you believe in? Are you an Atheist?

  • @MrSiklon762-Hitler on his faith: "My feeling as a Christian points me to my Lord and Savior as a fighter. It points me to the man who once in loneliness, surrounded only by a few followers, recognized these Jews for what they were and summoned men to fight against them and who - God's truth! - was greatest, not as a sufferer, but as a fighter." You don't know world nor, more specifically, religious history. I am anti delusion, which means anyone who lives for their sky daddy, I am against.

  • @christianitymustfall

    ok have a nice day,

  • @MrSiklon762 Hitler wasn't an atheist. Also, if you want to point to someone who actually was an atheist and did terrible things, did they do what they did in the name of atheism? I'd say most atheists never do anything in the name of atheism because it really doesn't make any sense at all to do something in the name of your lack of belief in something else.

  • @Paparappa62 ok name something that is supposedly done in the name of "religion".

  • @MrSiklon762 September 11th, 2001. It wasn't done in the name of "religion", it was done in the name of the hijacker's beliefs which came from their particular religion. I'm pretty sure they were praising to their god and awaiting their eternal reward all the way into those buildings. What else would motivate someone to sacrifice themselves to kill thousands of people they know nothing about?

They were convinced they had divine authority to do it, with divine reward waiting for them afterword.

  • @Paparappa62 I Knew you where going to mention 9/11 but i am talking about Christianity what was done in the name of Christ.

Also on what happened on 9/11, those where just a few individuals, can you really judge Muslims off the actions of those people. No, in the same way you can't judge "religion" by the actions of some individuals.

  • @MrSiklon762 Oh well you should have said you wanted examples specifically for Christianity then lol. Have you tried searching "religious wars" in a search engine yet? I can guarantee it won't take long before you run into the Crusades. That was a lot about Christianity as far as I understand it. I still recommend you read what you find as I have been avoiding history in college so far, so I'm not the best source of information on it.

  • @MrSiklon762 And I'm not judging Muslims by the actions of a few Muslims, and I'm not judging their religion by the action of a few Muslims. I'd be just fine with having Muslim next door neighbors or any religious neighbors for that matter. What I am doing is judging the religion by what the religion itself says. Their religious text, as well as yours, specifically instructs you to do the horrible things you hear about on the news all the time. People do it because they think it's right.

  • @MrSiklon762 Also, if you are interested, I would recommend searching something like "religious wars" in Google. You should get quite a collection of results that will provide a whole lot more information than I've got.

  • There are also people who say they can remember their past lives, so if that's accurate the Hindus and Buddhists version of reincarnation is the truth. Both can't be true, so someone's gone off the deep-end. I think one should try and be a good person and enjoy life. Worry about what happens after death, after you die!

  • @1527ams Why can't they both be true?

    No, seriously? I'm curious.

  • The afterlife has been confirmed.

    Spread the word

    DoesAccount. com

  • No it hasnt

  • For all those doubters, we are all gambling. If I die and there is no God, then I have wasted hours in church and praying. If you die, and there is a God.... you fill in the blank.

I feel embarassed by the way O'Reilly ended the piece because Christians and Jews also feel that you must follow their beliefs to get into heaven; it isn;t just the Muslims

  • all religion is man made shit, for lack of a better term, just live your life

  • @kspacey50

    but after that whats next

doesnt life feel so meaning less we do every thing in vain and just to do it over again

    nothing ever satisfies

  • Atheism is life without belief in gods. How is that a religion? The word religion itself is important only to people who claim to have one.

My biggest problem with religion is that those claiming to have one almost always live in direct contradiction to their teachings.

There are so many things that are spoiled by religion. Division, greed, unfairness, all rooted in "faith".

I do good deeds and treat people with respect because it pleases me, not because I look for heavenly rewards.

  • Science has a creation myth. A great explosion happened and the debris accidentally formed a pattern of stars, planets, and stuff in such a manner that molecules formed and became living creatures that eventually developed thoughts and words and all kinds of inventions. Impossible, but that' your myth. You believe science explains all reality just as Hindus, Buddhists and Muslims believe their religion explains reality. Your god is science, most of which is mythological. What's the difference?

  • @polkadotbox2

Im sorry but what contradictions have you found Christianity?

  • why did he have to ruin it at the end there?

could have been a nice fluff piece before he got all racist and righteous

  • umm?

What expet from watching Bill O Raily in FOX!?

  • wow people are really that dumb! good luck:p

  • Atheists don't need escapism from reality. Life is beautiful, and it ends in death. Atheists gladly accept their mortality; believers desperately search for another way, but can't turn any of the wonderful stories into facts.

God never said anything, nor will He. God was invented by people whose motives are self-service. All humans who were ever born have died or will die. There has never been even one exception. Accept this most basic fact of life, or enjoy your chosen form of escapism.

  • Look up the definition of religion. Atheism is not a religion. In the only meaning that doesn't involve a deity, a Bill O'Reilly fan club fan club and a pool team would qualify as religions. If you are going to come back by saying that atheism is a faith because you can't disprove God, think about this; I have an invisible elf on my shoulder right now. Ask yourself whether it takes as much faith to not believe this as it does to believe it. The burden of proof is not on the skeptic.

  • what an idiot

  • sure lets just not discuss how the hindus and buddists look at the after life

  • There's obviously evidence for life after brain death - look at O' Reilly.

  • Great clip! I am a fan of Dr. Swift's work and loved seeing him on O'Reilly. Dr. Swift's book is excellent- very much needed at this time when media loves to highlight our religious differences and intolerence. We are one nation, and one family under God, however we decide to worship and celebrate our divinity. Here's to keeping that multi-cultural and multi-religious American dream alive!!!

  • Patrick - great to see you on this spot! Very well done. Congrats on the book! -Will

  • Jewish faith has the idea of afterlife perfect. Its a mystery anybody that says otherwise is a liar.

I love how Bill makes a big deal that Muslims only believe Muslims go to heaven when 2 seconds beforehand he said the same about Evangelicals.

  • @mattnoks Jews all burn in hell

  • @mattnoks O'Reilly is a paid puppet he says what he's told to say.

  • Dr. Swift's insights are helpful and right on the mark. I love the way he noted that the "teachings" reflect certain things rather than being presumptuous about people's beliefs. We really ultimately do share more in common than we are made to think by the media, both liberal and conservative.
