Good question, Mirabella! With them being so dimensional and each layer being raised up, you can see quite a ways into the center between each layer. It looks much better when it's all done. We found after making tons of them that we like them a lot better when we color the back of the paper before cutting them out, too. Otherwise the white back of the paper looks funny between the layers.
@terri, we're trying to get the backs for a good price so we can offer them, but we don't have them yet. They're available online, you just need to do a search.
