It is called jump cancelling. You execute an attack then jump on the enemy. Upon jumping on the enemy, it resets possible moves. Look for the jump canceling tutorial in youtube. It'll help. I am still getting used to jump cancelling

well ya know, the best advice i learned is that jump cancelling is like playing a musical instrument (well in a certain tiny way)

you have to keep making the same rhythem to repeat the attack, going off-beat will cause you to jump too soon and end your streak of attacks
