I really hate fedex around here. I had to contact lego due problems with the "smart post" system(package went from one state over to about 8 over), the figures lego sent me as an apology got partially stepped on(thankfully nothing busted) and those were sent through the express, plus last month my 3DS was returned from nintendo repair instead of leaving it between the wooden door and screen door where it'd be safe(we were out running a quick errand), it was left on top a pet taxi on the porch

Standard shipping usually needs to be packed to handle a 1 meter drop. What this guy is doing looks bad but it's not as bad as what happens at the ware house when packages drop off of converter belts. They have separate rates for packages that need to be handled with more care.

For ebay and amazon sellers, if you want your customers happy, then don't go cheap on the packaging. Wrap it nicely in bubble wrap, paper shreds and thick cardboard fillers. These delivery people (FedEx, USPS, & UPS) are in a hurry. They don't have time to stack it nicely like in the department stores. I'm an eBay customer who buys comic books and plastic model kits. I don't blame these delivery guys if my package comes damaged. I blame the eBay sellers who packed it cheaply and poorly.
