@itsmeerkka Thats not true, Deticated Transports come with the squad and can start the game with the said squad inside of them, but basicly acts like a normal transport for any other means, Aka another kill point and once it off loads the other squad can transport another squad.

I would LOVE to see only ONE thing happen to my Tau.. and that is that they are given a BS of 4. Of all the races this is the ONLY stat I think doesnt make sense. All the tau do is shoot, so why do they have a BS that is no better than guard? And only slightly better than orks? O.o ALL THEY DO IS SHOOT XD so just please give my Tau a BS 4 :) that is all

How do you figure it is fair that a single tau firewarrior with my suggested BS4 WS2 S3 T3 W1 I2 A1 Ld7 Sv4+, cost 20 points when a space wolves grey hunter with BS4 WS4 T4 W1 I4 A1 Ld8 Sv3+ costs only 15 points and they come STANDARD with 2 CC weapons AND a bolt gun!!? I was thinking like 14 points MAX!!!!

I have extra armor on my rhinoes. I dont want daemonic possession just so i can shoot my hull mounted twin linked bolter. extra armor makes stunned results count as shaken, so i can still move my rhino.

...Still don't understand the logic...Daemonic possession makes you immune to Stunned AND Shaken, so you can move 6" AND fire your hull mounted bolter. You're immune to 1/3 of vehicle damage results.

Forgive me, maybe I'm just dense, but to me DP sounds like the better choice.

the hull mounted bolter on the rhino means close to nothing to me. With extra armor you save 5 points, however you cant shoot the bolter, and like i said before i really dont care about that bolter lol. I put daemonic possession on vehicles that have shooting power(all of them really besides rhinoes ), or if i am just messing around i could see myself jack up my rhino with extra guns and give it DP

I dunno, it's preference I guess. However, I would give your Rhinos DP. I run DP on all my rhinos for the reason that it lets me drive my Zerkers closer to the enemy without their transports getting stunned or shaken mid-board and having to footslog your Zerkers all the way to the enemy (they will more than likely get shot to pieces on their way there).

It's nice to soften up the enemy units before your Zerkers get to them. That's why I take a Hacoc Launcher.

Extra Armor makes sense. DP on a Rhino does not.

You need the Rhino to move across the board. EA makes all stunned effects shaken. So unless they wreck or immobilize you, you keep moving, all the time.

DP lets you.... shoot a TL-Bolter... Which no one gives a fuck about....

These BRs are really better than the ones that you used to use. The best thing about it is that it is being visually shown in movement instead of pictures. Maybe being more thorough in whats happening would make it a whole lot better.

I've started playing around with a similar style of Battle report. I find it much easier and faster than using stills and running a commentary. I'd break it up a bit more though and do a short recording at the end of each phase, also saying what phase and what turn you are up to each time you start recording. That way it's easy to followthe battle.

You should multi-assault with hormagaunts to tie up his shooting, outflank with genestealers and deep strike with raveners. Try to get into cc with his troops as quickly as possible.

This style is definitely better than your other battle reports. Moar plz :)

Remember to not cut yourself off mid-sentence. If the camera is the problem, let it roll a little bit after you stop speaking, and do the clipping in your video editing software instead.

And Nick, a Plauge Marine squad is way better for this kind of objective-holding than Thousand Sons. The Kroot would have had their work cut out for them against a full squad of Nurgle's nasties.

i appreciate the advice, however i made this list for a fun game. First off i would not have put so many points into the terminators. second i would not have taken the dreadnought, and third i would have taken a plague marine squad over the thousand sons ( i do own a squad of plague marines)

I use Thousand Sons also, mostly because I like the fluff and the miniatures. Their performance on the battlefield rarely impress me, but that may also be my fault for putting them in situations they can't handle.
