Thanks. I guess I overlooked the 2008! I think the excitement is kicking in. Its the -not knowing- of the experience that has me nervous. Liked your videos. Liked your confidence about the process. Thanks. I might use that rope.
I'm glad so many of my friends are doing this with me-- I'm not alone when it comes to motivation! -cheers- From Smarties to Storm of Honor, Annoyed Fox to Wings, Blue Tiger to ynwa...My friends are awesome. -nods-
Like I said to Zimologist: Don't get discouraged! Get on the forums, find people to talk to you and help you through andything if you get stuck! I'll definitely be here if you need any advice, so just message away if you need to! ;D
Thanks! I'm actually writing it in both French and English. Anything set in America will be in English, and anything set in France will be in French. :)
Haha, if this were a real novel, not very many people would be willing/able to read it, methinks. x3 I have over 3k as of right now! I don't know the exact amount, because I had to handwrite around 1k, and I have yet to type it up.
Wow! O.O I could never do that in the first two days, to be honest. I have 4.5k right now, but that's just because I haven't typed up part of my handwritten stuff yet. x3
I wrote that much in the first two days, because I know I won't be able to write anything for the next two days. So I'm probably gonna be behind again on Wednesday. ~___~
Ahh. That makes sense. I'm technically right on track, but I haven't actually written anything today, so I'm going to get on that before I go to sleep tonight. x3 Haha.
Of course you can! I always welcome new friends. ;) If you ever need any help getting over writer's block, feel free to message me, and I'll help you out. :3
Best of luck, I explained Nano to one of my friends and her parents today as literary suicide, I think it's about the best description ever for it. French is surely going to make it a challenge, have you thought about flipping back and forth between french and english depending on the chapter/character/thoughts vs. spoken?
I'm in. First time and getting super excited. Whew! Love your vibe. I'll send you a friend request.

I'm not actually doing it this year, because of crazy time commitments at college, however, I'll be happy to help you out if you get stuck!

How many hours a day would you spend to get the 1500 - 2000 words? Just plotting out my time.

I totally suck at this 'kinda have a plot' thing.
I think I'm gonna start again today.

Well, I would read it. :D I have no problem with switching between languages. xD
I have like 11.000 words right now, which is extremly good for someone like me.

I'm considering having everything set in the States in English, as well as whenever the main character (or anyone else) speaks in English.
TheGreyLadies 3 years ago
Wow! Good luck with doing in it French! How many countries have you been to?

OHOH. I'm doing NaNoWriMo, btw.
