Well If you look at my videos, Richard actually lives here now, and he says he is not trying to copy any one, He HAS hung around tony and Wyatt for like, YEARS and they are both his best friends, so I mean...if you hang around some one for years, you start to catch on, He isn't trying to copy anything.

I don't understand why would you want to copy Tony Rice and even do his stage moves, sing, dress and pick like him? I love Tony Rice more than anybody but this is to much lol!

If you are talking about Richard, you might listen to the Rebel Records album called "Walkin Down the Line" They are both ( Rice and Bennett) on there. There is no mistaking the diff. in style . At times, Richard sounds heavily influenced by Doc Watson, Django, Earl Klue and Joe Pass...all at the same time. This is kinda like saying JD copies Earl....strong similarities but very different.

Also, I cant remember seeing Tony in the past 15 years without a coat and tie. Maybe he has a blue shirt, but so do I.

Now, if you are talking about the other guy,,,you know they are brothers, right?

In truth, what guitarist has not been influenced by Tony? Bennett is just too good at his own thing to be put in this small box...but it's my opinion.

I know Wyatt is his brother but Richard trys to sing just like him and pick like him but I'm not saying he's bad now I'm just saying there is really no need do everything like Tony...Let it be known now that I'm bashing Richard he is a great guitar/singer
