Linkin Park isn't rock, they're Nu Metal. Anyone who knows anything about music genres knows that. They're grouped in with bands like Korn and Limp Bizkit. If they aren't considered Nu Metal anymore, because of their more recent stuff, I'd say maybe Alternative. They aren't a Rock band though.
