We had a great Christmas layout in the basement every year with the oil drum loader too! Great memories! lucky kitty.

That's amazing, I've seen all the accessories before be it at what used to be the nearest toy train museum or in old Toy Train movies I have. I actually sorta want an American Flyer now.

The only way i can get my Northern to slip like that is to put 40 cars behind it on a down grade and to slam to zero from full throttle.

My grandma and Grandpa got my uncle one of these when he was little in the 1950's. He stopped playing with it years ago so it has gotten into bad shape, but my grandma has given it to me, and I hope to one day get it restored (Everything except the wire to the track and battery is there, and perhaps the track that hooks the wires, if there was one) so I too can have an American Flyer.

this may seem off but i use american flyer accesories with my lionel trains. u cant tell a diffrence and american flyer accesories are cheeper.
