I am in my 12th season on the detroit tigers with leadoff hitter ovr 95 and he brokke 5 records, most steals, highest averaage (.429), rbi's (205), hits (291), and On Base percentage (.495)

My player is 35 years old and will retire in 5 years.

and he has 4,126 hits.

@SiiKN1NJAProductions In my first game i hit a grand slam, but i found out a really weird glitch in aa so i tried it and i got a 10 or 11 rbi grandslam. The glitch is to hard to explain because there are specific things. but it is very useful because when you are down and it seems like the game is over. you can hit a 10 or 11 rbi solo homerun to take the lead.Pretty intesting to hear the comentators like. " He gets his team within 3" and then like" and he extends the lead to 7"

this game is so much better than the show 10 when you have to wait 2 years before you get to the majors if you are good. when this game you can be in AA and after 20 games can be called up to the majors.

@streetballa990 but thats not realistic. after 20 games almost no player gets into the majors....THE SHOW is more realistic where a player has to play a couple of seasons in the minors, fine tune all the stats and then you get called up to be in the majors...and in THE SHOW you can get demoted and go back to AAA...thats more realistic, is it not....and that what we want, the most realistic baseball game we can get

You have to realize that I sim a large number of games for the sake of advancing the storyline for these videos, and I am not hitting all of those while user controlling the game. Not all of my home runs have come using the power swing, as I use contact swing a fair amount as well.

wait what? has there been an update? they make errors now? and you can get benched for not moving your number? im on the O's and i took number 8 ( cal ripken) and I havnet been asked to remove it. Also I think for next years game they should still make it more realistic... no one plays all 162 games players should get days of rest, like if you make a pitcher.

@vikingdt2 No I just took some artistic license and added the potential benching over the number change. It's completely made up. I just added that in there because there has been discussion in the comments about the retired number and my plans to change it in a future episode. I agree that some days of rest would be nice, you seem to get a little more of that in Road To The Show in MLB 10.
