well LOG are very much inspired by Pantera so I think it's a bit harsh just chucking them out of the "cutting-edge" clique. Sure now Pantera sounds old and degenerate, but think of the evolution in thrash they helped spark off, they were really the first and then came Sepultura with Chaos AD and Machine Head and what not ... Plus Pantera had always been supportive of the entire metal scene wether it be Death or thrash or heavy, ... as long as it was heavy and good
