  • I´m 5 weeks and 1 day today, and in 3 hours I´m gonna have my first US done.

    I´m scared and ecxited!

  • Omg I tried for like 6 years lol and after I stop trying it happened

  • aww congrat on your pregnancy. I just found out I am pregnant as well :) so im excited for you too!

  • Hi hun! I have been watching your videos for some time now and am so pleased that you are pregnant! My husband and I have been trying for nearly 2 years now! Do you have any tips on what you think made you pregnant? We are really praying for children! xxx

  • I found out my baby's gender 2 days ago, when I was only 11 weeks and 5 days only, during that important morfologic ultrassound, and it's a boy! So I guess you'll also find out your baby's gender long before your 18th week! Good luck, Kelsey!!!!!!!!!!! :0)

  • @naerep2001 No I did not.

  • Aww I'm so so pleased for you both!!

  • You already have a pregnancy glow. You look amazing! Those outfits are so ADORABLE! Praying for an amazing, healthy 9 months for you!

  • I'm so happy for you girl ! enjoy pregnancy to the fullest . about the sugar test .. I had it done at 26 weeks not early pregnancy.. and I came out normal thank god. also when I didn't knew the sex of my baby I always went towards the boys section ... It was weird cuz I always felt Attracted to the baby boy clothes.. and sure enough at 18 weeks we found out it was a boy . so your intuition might be right! :-) once again congratulations on your bundle of joy. I been following you since the long

  • OMG!! You pregnant!!! I have been praying for you love. Congrats.

  • Just found your videos! Congratulations! I am excited to follow your pregnancy.

  • Yay for exciting! How fun that you will get to see baby again next week! So happy for you!! :) I totally agree with you about the gender neutral clothes, it is SO hard and you can only have so many outfits with ducks!! LOL

  • I had to do a 1 hr glucose test at 9 weeks, which I thought was early. I had the orange drink, it wasn't absolutely awful but it wasn't something I enjoyed drinking either

  • I think I tear up and get so excited for you with every vlog you post for your pregnancy. So glad your ultrasound was great!

  • those sleep gowns are a must! glad the scan went well :0)

  • Only getting to watch this now, so late. On train on way home. Ha I love that you had Colby googling while you were mid nosebleed. I am so happy your scan went amazing!

  • My weight varies between 100 to 105 lbs my whole life and I got to 137 with my second baby!!! The weight gain was surprising for me!

  • those sleep sack/gowns are my most favorite baby item!! your baby will be comfortable and easy diaper changes :) congrats on your little one! looking very forward to watching your videos

  • ooo a MIL wknd. god bless...yes I only had the sides of my boobs hurt in the beginning...it'll move inward ;) What is Schlotskeys? I'm hoping you will never get morning sickness!! I had dried bloody boogers and my gums bleed when I brush. Super cute top. xoooxox infinity.

  • @lunaandneville Schlotzsky's is a hot sandwich place with the yummiest sourdough bread. I'm in love.

  • Glad you had a great ultrasound! A glucose test at 5 weeks is just insane. Super, super cute baby buys. Are you swelling yet? I've been getting that in the evenings when I'm out of the house in the humidity.

  • @Tashakcooks No swelling yet, aside from the bloat! :)

  • Kelsey, I've heard that there is this urine test you can buy off the shelves of any drugstore in the States, which tells you the gender of the baby with 8 weeks only. have you ever heard about it, and will you want to know the gender before the ultrassound tells you ( which I believe tells you something in between 11 to 12 weeks pregnant )? Anyways, thanks for sharing all your info :0)

  • @AmarHEloisa I do have one of the urine tests that the company sent me to take. You are supposed to take it at 10 weeks, so I will do that. They aren't entirely accurate but it's fun. The baby's genitalia isn't fully obvious until about 15 weeks at the earliest on an ultrasound. The ultrasound is usually done around 18-20 weeks in the US.

  • I did that glucose test at the beginning of my pregnancy but they did it cause family history and i am over weight. i was also emotional at this time when i was pregnant. i cry when my husband wouldnt cut his toe nails.

  • Yay for good news!!! Totally w/ you on the crying, bloat and gassiness lol! Its so common so don't worry! Im 3 lbs heavier than normal (last I checked) so trust me I know what u mean!

  • I was almost crying with you! I am so happy for you and Colby. I waited for this baby from the time that you started making TTC vlogs.

  • ahhhhhahahahah "Fart Fireworks!!" lol Me too! I'm 4 wks 3 days and so gassy too!!

  • If you buy halloween things in october at babies r us things will be 75% off and thats goes for any holiday things :)

  • Such good news, Kelsey! It's wonderful! I also had a lot of nosebleeds. Make yourself a dentist appt! So important for your health in pregnancy... Those sleep gowns are great! We use them every night. Can't wait for your next update. :)

  • Are yall going to tell his mom in some cute surprizing way!

  • @yoursweetheartlc1989 We caved and told her over the phone already haha

  • Oh Kels Im so excitied for you both . Awww how sweet daddy was already falling in love with baby . LOL ugly face cry ...

  • First...you are just too cute!! Second, I was wondering about what you said about not telling friends and family you are pregnant, do they not know you do this blog? my husband and I are TTC and I have thought about doing a vlog but not to sure I want everyone to know about it.

    Rashelle

  • @shellbell42509 My family doesn't know about my YouTube, as far as I know. If someone does know, no one has told me anything.

  • woohoooo..Super excited for you! Happy 5 weeks! Thanks for sharing :)

Great baby buys and super sweet ultrasound photo.

    xoxoxoxoxxoxxoxxo

  • I'm super excited for you!!!

  • I am so happy for you and I don't think I have another woman pregnant glow like you are.So Excited!

  • My dr did a baseline glucose at my first appointment, but it was just a non-fasting blood draw; no glucose drink.

  • I was so gassy too!!

  • Glucose test is just not a big deal... it is just a drink that tastes a little gross but there are things that would be worse

  • Congrats!! Will you find out what you are having, boy or girl? xx

  • @BiddyBop7 Yes we will find out :) Colby REALLY wants to!

  • I'm so thrilled for you guys! I thought of you all day Monday. You have some serious good vibes going your way! x,

  • I am so glad every thing is going well. Cute outfits!

  • YAY!! So happy for you!! Glad to see you so happy :)

  • Congrats on an awesome US! Those outfits are super cute. I am a new subscriber and was curious about your lack of symptoms. I am the same way where "If I have no BB pain, Im not PG" because its always a common first symptom. This cycle I have no BB pain, AF is due in 2 days but its actually opposite from a normal cycle because usually I get BB pain right after O and up until AF. Maybe Anov? Do you usually get soreness after O?

  • @JennandNateM I usually have no breast tenderness at all, which is why I considered it such an obvious pregnancy sign for me because it was really bad with my first two pregnancies. I hope you got your BFP!

  • Those sleep gowns are Andy and my favorite baby clothing item ever! Best for changing diapers at night!

  • Yay!

  • Yay! Glad all is going well! lol, Colby is funny!

  • I love this video so much excited news lol i cant wait to hear the heart beat. i am truly happy for ya !!

  • congrats!! im so excited for you and your husband

you should do belly shots in your videos so we can see you and your baby grow over the weeks!!:)

  • @HannahRuth212 I definitely plan to do belly shots but completely forgot in this video!

  • Yay, 5 weeks! Poor Roxy, hope she feels better soon! you should do the shirt like you were going to do for Colby for his mom, or have him wear a shirt that says Daddy 2012...

  • Whens your due date?

  • @caryn1021 It's April 15 right now.

  • So excited that everything looked good! Congrats! Seeing daddy and baby interaction never gets old!

  • im so glad everything is looking good! Im so happy for you guys!

  • I just love to see you so bubbly and excited! I am over the moon for you and Colby! I love that you've already done shhopping for this little sweet pea! Love your baby buys!

  • Congradulations on your pregnancy :)

I love the halloween outfit :)

The sleepsack is cute too! I loved useing them for my neices when they where babies. They are easier too change Lol.

  • wooohooo sooooo happy for you god bless:)

  • Man, I had a stuffy nose my entire pregnancy--hated that symptom! I can totally picture you two with a boy......happy for you!

  • Yeay, I am soo happy for you guys and you and babay are in my prayers in detail!

  • So glad everything is looking good!! Super excited that you got to see the yolk sack! Definitely something to celebrate!! Oh yes, the early pregnancy hunger!! LOL I think it's stayed the same for me actually but I've just gotten used to going from 0 to 60 on the hunger scale. Yay for no real morning sickness yet. Hopefully you'll be like me and skip that symptom altogether.

  • So excited for you :)

  • Kelsey I cannot express to you how happy and excited I am for you and Colby! I am wishing you a long and sitcky pregnancy! Look forward to experiencing this with you! :) xox

  • I was 9wks when I did my first glucose test, just to make sure things were okay. I have PCOS btw...so that was a reason too. Also when you do it get it as cold as you can get it and use a straw to drink it, first time it almost came up but I just did it again (I'm 27wks) and used a straw and it went down and stayed down the whole time!

  • I am so happy for you and love your vids!

  • So do you guys think you'll still wait to find out the gender???

  • @JenS0905 I still want to wait, but Colby REALLY wants to find out so we will!

  • All of this is making me so excited. I'm so so happy for you Kelsey :D)

  • I have had and early glucose test, but mine was at 15 weeks. They like to have the base line so than can see how your body is tolerating the pregnancy. I will get another done in the third trimester. You are lucky mine was the 2 hour test!! so i got pricked three times!

  • glad to hear that everything is ok!!! looking forward to the good news next week when you get to hear the heart beat, nothing feels better than hearing that sound. Congrats!

  • Glad that everything is going well for you and baby is in the right place and growing. I agree with either everything being white, yellow, and with a duck. Look forward to the next update.

  • I think the glucose test is horrible either way. If you have no history I wouldn't take it. With me they made me take it twice then sent me to a specialist that made me prick my finger and everything for a week to see after all that unnecessary stuff I was fine the whole time. I'm small and use to weight between 95-100 when I was pregnant I got up to 145. My weight now has been on 120 and can't loose need to try harder but idk if I can go back down to 100

  • yay!!!!!! aww i love that baby gown my fav they are super easy at night time you an just change diapers with ease :)

  • Whoo! 5weeks and one day!!! Ahhhhhh! Aww, you good pup mom you! YAY! How wonderful!!! It is seriously wonderful, and goes by fast!!! Yay for Grandma:) Awwww, this is such a great video! FULL of excitement!! I know right! They do that dang test SO freaking early! They made me do it around 9weeks. LMBO at Colby! Oh! The ugly cry face, lol. My nips have hurt WAY more! I hope you don't ever get sick! Yikes for random noes bleeds, yay! Ha! You crack me up:) Congratulations, Kelsey Face! <3 you!!

  • So happy this baby migrated to the right place! Congrats again!

  • Super cute your hubby in the background! Made me laugh...

  • yeah to all of it (minus nose bleed, they do suck for sure!) Love the outfits, i hear ya on gender neutral, our stash is growing, but there are deff things that are boy/girl only! :D

  • Glad that everything is going good. Sending sticky baby dust to you.

  • Congrats

  • Do you have any risk factors?

Over 25 (I don't think this is even accurate).

    Family history

    overweight

    or non-white

    Previous GD, etc

I'd decline from what I know of you ;)

  • @MadreMaven I do have a family history- both my mom and grandmother.

  • I knit sleep sacks, but without the arms. They are fantastic for diaper changes and touching toes!

  • congrats on the great news at the ultrasound!! :)... I never had an early glucose test, but honestly I'm not sure why people say it's so bad :P It's a lot of sugar, that's very concentrated, so you'll probably feel a little jittery for the hour after you have it, but no more than having an energy drink! It's actually the same amount of sugar in a can of pop, just a few less gulps! lol And drinking it, is not that bad either.. tastes like that mcdonalds "juice" lol! sweet, but not too bad! :)

  • Yay, so happy for you! :D

Will you still do videos after you have the baby? :)

  • @atlaskatarzyna Yes, I do plan to!

  • Glad everything is going well for you guys. I am currently 13 weeks pregnant and my boobs haven't hurt at all this time, which I worried about at the start. They have grown at least one cup size without any pain. They killed me first time! Weird!

  • I wouldn't do the glucose test so early. To me that sounds silly. I am from Germany, and we don't do the glucose test standardly like they do in the US. To me, that sounds so silly. The reason most american dr's do it standardly is because americans are so overweight and diabetes is quite genetic. So, as long as it doesn't run in your family ...and you seem to be no where near overweight (though it's not always in overweight people- í know) I wouldn't even get the test, especially so early.

  • No belly shot this week? I loved the video and I'm so happy for you two!

  • @CutTheFat I totally forgot! I'm sorry!

  • LOL "glamorous symptoms" I love the halloween onsie!! loved this vlog, colby's little comments in the background were hilarious! yay for 5 weeks. so glad baby is all snug in ur womb.

  • Congratulations Kelsey, you remind me so much of me when i was first Pregnant, now 28 weeks along! You do go with that gut feeling about the sex of the baby, when i had my 5 week ultrasound i was set on having a boy and im havin a boy! lol so i think mummy knows best! Congrats again for a healthy pregnancy :)

  • Yay! Congrats! So happy to hear this news :)

  • sleep sacks are awesome, my son wore them as a newborn only as he got older he hated them. And any sleepers that have the fold over mittens are WONDERFUL. Mittens fall off, this was the only way my son could keep from scratching his face. And trust me your boobs will get sore enjoy it while you can. I was always starved with my son too, now im pregnant again and i swear it must be a girl because i dont feel that way again! Ahhh I did the " I want the same thing over and over again to eat" too!!

  • I am sooo happy things are going so perfectly!! I decided not to do the early glucose test because in my opinion it is not important like the later one. Haha good for you for sharing about your flatulence ...its just one of those very common and very unwelcome symptoms of pregnancy. I hope that your second ultrasound goes just as perfect and you get to see that magical little heartbeat! :)

  • Aw fantastic! Glad your scan went well! As for the morning sickness I hope it stays away, I got it at around 7-8 weeks and it hung around till about 12 weeks. Oh and I know what you mean about the farting haha! :) good luck for the next scan :)

  • so wonderful that your little one is right where it should be. sending you my prayers for a healthy, happy, uneventful pregnancy. totally love the little pumpkin outfit!

  • I just started watching your vlogs today. I am so happy for you and your husband. I will be praying for you guys weekly for a happy and healthy pregnancy. I'm excited to see more video's of your progress.

    *Britt*

  • congraulations I'm so happy for you and colby xx

  • Kelsey I'm so skipping over the moon happy that everything is going so great for you & Colby! Congrats again love! -3

  • So excited to see the news that you had a good ultrasound!!

  • We are going to be ultrasound buddies next Friday (except for mine's at 3:00)! Super cool! :) It's so hard to not know what you're having and try to shop. I've been wanting to shop soooo much but I don't want my baby's closet to be full of ducks. Haha. Why is every gender neutral thing ducks??? I hope you get to be lucky and skip over the morning sickness! I got it at around 6 weeks... No fun. Yay for Kelsey preggo vlogs!!! xoxo

  • The carter's sleep sacs are AMAZING! Our 10.5 month old daughter still wears hers (they're a little short now) but still great, esp. for nighttime diaper change :)

  • Are you thinking about names yet? :) I think it's a boy!!

  • @SixthSenseSynesthete We have been. We talk about names a lot :)

  • I'm SO glad everything went well :D

  • I'm so happy for you guys! I'm a recent subscriber and believe it or not I watched all your videos in 2 days to catch up on your past :)

  • YAAAY! I was so excited and nervous to watch this! (And I love how you coordinate with your decor in this vid :D)

  • I love your videos. I already have a feeling it's a girl based on your symptoms.

  • So happy got you! Congrats

  • I wish u the best!

  • i am definitely getting some boy vibes from you! Colby junior!

  • sleep sacks were my best friend with both of my babies!

  • Yay for a good doctors appointment! You and Colby deserve this great time in life! Hope everything goes great in the future! I really like the clothes you picked out too! I could see you guys having a girl, maybe a Sophie, Sophia, or Sadie. Something shabby sheek like that.

  • I'm soooo happy the appt went so well!! I had bad bloating with my 3rd and especially 4th baby lol, and I also know all to well about the emotional rollercoasters and breakdowns, the not being able to figure out what you want to eat, and the heat! I'm in TX and I noticed yall said HEB, which I thought was a TX thing so are yall here too? I had a nosebleed with my 4th (pg related) and bloody gums with all 4. BUT a ray of hope, with 4 PGs I have never had ANY morning sickness!!

  • @mommylove2585 all too* well

  • @mommylove2585 Yes, we are in Texas and live near Austin. :)

  • So glad the ultrasound went great! For my first one after my miscarriage I was so afraid to look at the screen until I snuck a peek out of the corner of my eye and saw the heart beating. Such a relief. That's so cute about Colby w/ the pic. My husband always got the biggest smile on his face when he heard the hearbeat. I loved it. I haven't had an early glucose test but the one at 28 weeks wasn't bad at all. Sleep sacks are great! I love them for middle of the night diaper changes.

  • Glad your appointment went good!

  • all good signs. Thank you for showing off your little bean! So exciting!!

  • Kelsey, I think you should videotape the ultrasound with the heartbeat. Then pretend you're putting a movie on when they get there and show the ultrasound w/heartbeat! <3 I think that would be a cute little way to tell them!

  • Comment removed

  • Sleep sacks are great. My son wore a bunch of them his first 3 months! :)

The cuffs are great for folding over baby's hands to keep them from scratching themselves :)

  • congrats lovee ur pillows by the way..

  • Hahaha the symptoms might not be glamorous, but you are definately radiating happiness chicky. Super excited for you and your gonna make an AMAZING momma!!

  • I measured ahead to the whole first trimester. But now im measuring more accurate based on when i actually ovulated but since I ovulated late in my cycle they are going by my early ultrasound.. so pretty much 3 days ahead of what im actually due (because I know when I ovulated!) but thats ok :) I had my first ultrasound at exacly 6 weeks and it was amazing :) Got to see the heartbeat and got my babies first pictrure! And seen him again at 8 weeks! Total peace of mind!!!! Congrats again!!

  • I bet its a girl!

  • Love the halloween suit, lol.

  • I'm so glad everything went well at your appt. Would you YouTube you telling your in-laws the news? That would be awesome to watch! :)

  • @lylagirl90 We totally cracked and told them over the phone already, haha.

  • Yay, I'm so glad everything is going well!!! That is super exciting!!! That's what little Weston looked like at 5 1/2 weeks! Weston has the same yellow and white sleep wear! He is wearing the yellow one while I type this...lol.

  • I have been waiting to see how your appointment went! I was excited to see you uploaded a new video! I wish you all the best and can't wait to see more of your pregnancy vlogs! As always you are in my prayers!

  • I have a feeling it's a boy!

  • lol, I don't think I've weighed 114 since I was in 9th grade ;) How tall are you???

  • @rachg09890 I am 5'4".

  • "fart fireworks" haha - Soo glad that everything went well with your ultrasound!! Wishing you a great pregnancy!

  • I logged onto Youtube tonight JUST to see how your ultrasound went! So happy for you!!

  • I only had to take the glucose test once, and it was at 28 weeks. It was not bad at all. It just tasted like cough syrup. I have seen several people on YouTube that had to drink a lot, but I only had to drink a small glass of the stuff. I don't remember it tasting too bad. I just drink it real fast to get it over with.

  • So glad all went well! So happy for you! I remember one of my first pregnancy symptoms was I felt so bloated and huge. Looking back at my first pregnancy belly shots I can't believe I thought I looked huge. lol

  • OMG thats like me, I've always weight between 105 and 110 but on friday at my appt i weighed 115 i was like WHAAATTT?!

  • I was not surprised to see you sniffed out something Halloween :-) So glad that things are well!

  • So happy for you and Colby!

  • i totally hear you about the boobs being in the bra for too long, I get so excited to come home and release the girls, lol. No morning sickness for me either, just a little regurgitation and major heartburn. Funny how the body works but I wish you all the best and can't wait to hear about your next U/S and heartbeat :)

  • so glad everything went well :) ive never heard of anyone having to do an early glucose test. i did mine last week at 27.3 weeks pregnant and it wasnt bad at all.

  • I love your shirt!! Where did you get it? I have been totally emotionally lately too hopefully a preggo symptom! Congrats again

  • @Sarahm0130 It's a dress actually. I got it at New York & Company a few years ago :)

  • Hehe, you're making me all nostalgic for early pregnancy! Your symptoms are so similar. I also put on like 5 pounds in the first trimester! I was really bummed about that because all my friends lost weight in the first trimester. Just be glad that you'll be huge in winter instead of summer! Can you imagine enduring that heat with an extra 30 pounds? Yikes! So happy to hear you had a great experience at your ultrasound!

  • Yay

  • Girl, you are radiant! You look wonderful pregnant :)

  • Yay! For a good doctor's visit, and for getting to see baby!

    Love the outfits. :)

  • i am so happy for you, Kelsey :) I cant wait to hear about your next ultrasound! Im with colby and think its a girl! I am so excited for you and cant wait to see a baby belly. you will be SUCH a cute preggo!! Take care :)

  • I'm so excited for you guys, Congrats!

  • Congrats!

  • Yay! I was so excited when I saw your video in my sub box. I'm so glad to hear that everything went well. You will be such a cute mama!

  • Sooo happy everything is going great for you!

  • I love all of the symptoms you are having (is that weird? haha)!! They are all such great signs. Even though your boobs arent as sore as you expected maybe its just a sign that this pregnancy WILL stick! Its something different from your other two. I am so happy for you, and i cant wait to see this all unfold further. Congrats again!!

  • My morning sickness kicked in at 6 weeks exactly.

  • Love your channel! Congrats also. I had my daughter 4 months ago and I also had the nosebleeds, that brought back memories when you talked about it LOL. Sending you many happy thoughts and wishes!!!!

  • Congradulations.. : D I've diabetes since I was 12 and I wouldn't worry about them doing the tolerance test this early.. If diabetes goes undiagnosed in early pregnancy and the mothers blood sugars are high it can cause the same effect as a women who's always had diabetes like miscarriage, birth defects bigger than normal babies like 10 plus pounds the earlier you catch it the better the pregnancy : D I'm sure your fine sweety Good luck!!

  • I've NEVER heard of a glucos test that early. I would say your mother instinct has already kicked in~ hehe I don't think I would do TWO glucose tests~! SUGAR overload!! I refused the glucose test all together w/ my second pregnancy. No need to put that much sugar into my body when I never ever ever put that much sugar into my body as it is. seems strange..U & I have the same body type. I was like hello doc I OBVIOUSLY dont have diabeties!!

  • I am so happy to hear that everything is going good, I will keep praying for all of you...

  • so happy for you! congratulations!! xx

  • I had the WORST nosebleeds when I was pregnant, definitely start using pillowcases you don't mind getting ruined because mine always seem to show up at night. I am really enjoying following your pregnancy, ya'll are too cute.

  • the glucose test is rotten no matte what kelsey, I had to get it at 6 weeks, then again at 23 weeks and it sucked BOTH times but personally i would go fruit punch over the orange :), Also the sleepsacks/gowns are amazing at night, dont get alot of unisex/neutral and newborn stuff the baby will outgrow it fast. Im just getting baby stuff in now im 24 weeks and yes, im leaving it a long time but its gonna be a december baby

  • yay congrats!!! (: so happy for u

  • Yay for baby being in the right place and everything is looking good. So happy for you! I had super sore boobs my first pregnancy but this pregnancy they have not really been sore at all

  • As an FYI, your bowels slow down tremendously in the first trimester so that baby can get as much nutrients as possible out of the foods you eat. That's what causes bloat and constipation/gas. I found that actually increasing my fiber and protein helped tremendously. Best wishes. It gets way better in the second trimester!

  • Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i will be praying for that strong healthy heartbeat next week)

  • HAHA Fart fireworks. Too funny. Do you fire these off in front of Colby? His interjections also cracked me up! Good to hear that baby is growing away where s/he should be. I have to say, I think you're having a boy. I don't know why. When you said that at first you thoug
