he speeds up in the fast bits and really takes his time in the more reflective bits i love it. but some of tuning is a little out im doing this for an exam in two weeks im not this good.
This is a romantic interpretation, but one that conveys breathless tempestuousness rather than sombre brooding resignation. It is on the fast side, but well controlled, and the ebbing and flowing of the tempo help convey the turbulence. Not that I think more impassioned moments should necessarily be faster.
This is excellent. I wish (if only) Raphaël Oleg & Gérard Wyss concert on March 30th be recorded to and added to youtube.
This will be played in the well know "Panthéon" auditorium, with such an excellent acoustic. Rarely used.

Fantastic pianist.
(Not in any way undermining the violinist, whose sound is gorgeous).

trés personnel ,avec une basse soutenue au piano , et un excellent parallélisme
violon et piano dans les nuances et harmoniques .
Une sacrée pièce harmonique à 'l 'oreille par ces 2 virtuoses.!!!

de fact is that it's a bit too fast/rush ^konnytheviolin wasn totaly wrng... n i wonder y he had his musicstand so low
chenjiaann 2 years ago
the only flaw was the annoying stand, which causes him to look down unnaturally when playing. superb tone and expressions though.

the stand is so low so that it does not block the violin from the microphone

oh my god, for my feeling it is too fast. i sounds great but the music should be more romantic and thus not that fast
but all in all very good musicians
