Nah, this isnt right. Something as powerful as cash's God's gonna cut you down mixed in with anything that isn't explicitly and intrinsically tied together lyrically driving the same message is purely diluting the impact of one of Cash's greatest songs. You need to find something that can stand side by side, the mos def album may be great but when it cuts away it just feels watered down. The impact and intensity isn't there. Mind, not many can stand and be counted as equal to the late great cash

Two of my favourite songs, two great artists, great beats; put it together and you get a good mix. People shouldn't complain about messing up a good song; this version adds a different dimension to the song and the song isn't a Johnny Cash original anyway. If you don't like it, don't listen to it.
