Great song, but I think it should have ended right after the "fade away" line. The sudden disappearance of the instruments along with the "lesson I learned today", which is generally how twilight ends her letters, give a sense of loss and despair which a resurgence of the music kind of kills for me.

I liked it and all, but I can't say I loved it. It seems to suffer from the same problem a lot of other brony songs suffer from, and that's that the vocals seem out of place with the rest of the music. The lyrics are beautifully written, but the sound of the vocals just don't match the sound of the instrumental, and it feels... I don't know, disjointed? Is that the word I'm looking for? Anyway, it was good for what it is, but I just feel it could have been better. I wish youtube still did stars
