When playing this game, I always wondered what happened to that guy named Robert who was assisting Ryu Hayabusa in fighting. The last time he was seen was in a scene where he was holding off a gang of bad guys with his gun but, it never showed whether he survived in the battle or died, especially it never showed him at the end of the game just as soon as Ryu Hayabusa defeated Jaquio and saved Irene once the darkness at the end disappeared. (My guess is that Robert died but it wasn't seen).

@TsunamiWombat Yes that's true. It is still unknown whatever happened to Robert since he was never seen once the game ended. Also on the third game, Robert was never talked about and he wasn't on the game helping Ryu Hayabusa.

Please, game designers... look 20 years or so back in time and remember how to make games that would be regarded as CLASSIC so many years later.

I still remember the chills I got watching this intro the first time after I got the game .. I was like, woah you mean the plot goes deeper than Jaquio?

i remembered i was like 9 years old and i watched my dad play the game and totally finished it like less than an hour...although the game was short but this is totally one of the very memorable games...

In the intro here, I think Ashtar looks like "The Shredder" from "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles."

@TwilightSea Yes, if Shredder wants to look like Ashtar, maybe he should act like Ashtar having his technodrome dark like Ashtar is kind of nicknamed as the king of darkness where Shredder is kind of nicknamed as the king of the foot clan or the foot soldier leader since he's kind of a foot soldier dressed differently and maybe Shredder should battle the Ninja Turtles in darkness so he can kill them easily.

The Xbox games are a joke compared to this game. Revenge of Shinobi was closer to classic Ninja Gaidan.
