  • I thinked buy a Russian Sniper Original is cheaper and better than try to modify by so many Gun Smith!!

  • @CharlieDoan not true at all. a real original PE sniper would cost you a fortune and good luck even finding one. gun smith? there was no gun smith involved. I installed this myself. btw, those crapy PU sniper rifles so many store sell are garbage with garbage scopes. this is a PE hex receiver and not easy to find as an original.

  • Post link to the site in descrpitipn ieneew[weprmerdasdtg

  • @BoggleDongMongerFlog seriously? the link is in both the title and the video description. plus I said over and over in the video and below where to buy it.

  • Can someone tell me if there is a way to use this type of reticle (German) to calculate distance? The scope is 2.5x20.

  • Whats the difference between the pu and pe? Which would you prefer for hunting? And did you float your mosin's barrel? I heard you can do this by purchasing a glass bedding and installing it.

  • @endgamr PU is a 3.5x zoom, PE is 4.0x. PEs are for early year models (not sure what years exactly but mines a 1925). PUs are for late war models, like enemy at the gates. PUs are side mounted whereas PEs are top mounted. Floating the barrel is done by removing wood from around the barrel so it doesn't touch the hand guard. Glass bedding helps make the receiver fit tighter in the stock. I did both to mine to make it more accurate. Also made a 2 stage trigger. See video for that mod.

  • @ericzanutto How is the magnification on the NOS scope? I run a Bushnell Legend on my sporter right now, but I dislike the way the ATI scope-mount is made. I hate the fact that the rear part of the mount doesn't touch the receiver body. I am interesting in purchasing a PE mount, and most likely going to take it to my smith for installation. What is the body diameter on your PE scope? My Weaver rings are 1", so the Bushnell's body must be 1" as well.

  • @theduke502 PE is 4x, PU is 3.5x. Id highly recommend a gun smith as these guns are made from crappy metal (even my 1925). I dont remember what the scope body is for sure but I want to say its a bit bigger than 1" because accumounts sells 1" adapters to use with the PE mount so you can mount a 1" scope. even with a 4x im pretty easily able to pick off a shoe box sized target at 550 yards.

  • @ericzanutto Really? I'm glad you told me. The PE mount is like $120! I already have the ATI mount, which I don't like. I ask the local smiths and they all wonder why I don't just build a Rem 700 >:-/ I'll send you a regular message because of the character counter, lol!

  • were can i find the link to this set up for my m91/30 plz hit me back thnk u

  • @majinboo75 go to google, type in accumounts pe scope...its the first link that comes up. you cant link websites on youtube but the name of the company (accumounts) is listed in the details of this vid. check them out, they have a lot of good stuff.

  • Can you still use iron sights with this mount? Thanks

  • @1851NavyColt when detatched it doesnt affect the use of iron sites. with the scope and mount in place there is a small view hole in the mount to see your sites. most mosins have their rear site slightly canted. mine is and this mayes it not line up right with the front site and rear peep hole. depending on your rifle it may or may not work with the scope installed. but take it off and youre fine for sure.

  • what website was that

  • @shawnmohr1989 sorry, but i have no idea what question youre trying to ask.

  • is it a 4 power scope?

  • @nbenicewicz yes, its a 4x fixed. I think somewhere I accidently said its an 8x but its a 4x.

  • @ericzanutto If you said 8x I don't recall it.

Thanks for getting back to me anyway. I just bought a Mosin Nagant 91/30 sniper with a PU scope today.

  • @nbenicewicz cool, post up some videos of it.

  • @ericzanutto will do as soon a I get a camera and figure out how to use it.

  • @ericzanutto is that website payingyou to use your videos?

  • @bcott28 nope, they aren't...but I really wish they were. They could easily embed some adds or something.

  • @ericzanutto is that not copyright or something?

  • @bcott28 on youtube you can set your settings to either allow or dis-allow others to embed your videos on websites. if i dont dis-allow that i dont think there are any legal actions i could take. if i wanted to be a dick i could dis-allow it but they arent doing any harm to me...id like to get paid of course but i cant force them to. maybe i could talk them into giving me a scope setup for my Mauser or something. i get most of my hits from their site.

  • @ericzanutto only in a perfect world.

  • will the mount when drilled into the base will it drill over the serial number

  • @halodudJ117 it doesnt drill into the serial number but it does cover it when installed.
