Ok so i know how to use imovie hd and stuff but i have a problem.

i need to like combine 2 clips so they play together at the same time. like communitychannel does so she's having a conversation with herself. sort of. look up her channel and you'll see. it's confusing. anyway.

i need to like have "clip one" and "clip two" playing together at the same time. really confusing but if you have any idea on how i can do this, pleeease let me know. and i'm 14 so don't talk confusing to me =p thankyou b

@blaaaaze are you sure that you've applied it? and you can click "show clip volume levels" in "view" and you can see whats going down. =)

hi this was a great tutriwl you shared onb how to edit this video with special effects i use imoviehd too but older version for tiger.

now i have another question is there a way for editing videos of my dvd or video cassette i was just wonddering since i wanted to try that too if so can you put it as tutorial here too or gfive me small instructions on how to do this?

you mean like if you had a DVD and u wanted to put it on ur computer and edit it? if thats wat u mean then u need to like somhow rip the footy of the DVD and make it a quicktime file which u can then import and edit in IMovie

@mslugger27 i know how, you click on the beginning of where you want to go, and press control t. then the end of where you want to go, and press control t. you have a seperate clip to edit how you like.

dude i got a panasonic too. what you do is plug the charger in, plug that cable that goes in the charger into it, and then plug the other end of that cable into the camera. then put the firewire in and turn it on. that should work.

but for my camera i cant turn it on and have the firewire cable in cause i have to take out the battery to put in the cable

dude, wat kind of camera do u have? go to the apple store then. they will help u there. im sure u must be doing somthing wrong if the fire wire cable port is under that battery slot.

me and my friend got a firewire cable and tried workin with the whole imovie thing but none of the footage we got showed up on imovie. got any tips

make sure when u make a new project, the format is "dv" not "ishight" then plug in the cord to the computer and the camera. turn camera on and then hit import. that should work.
