  • This song should go well with the Catherine video game

  • even if Catherine can mean evil i dont care. i will name my daughter Lilith if i want to.

  • Oooo awesome song :)

  • A beautiful song.

  • Thank you for your kind words. It is a tricky situation re Akhnaton. He was embraced as rallying point for some of the Fraternities [you noted the pfree-Masons], but historically he tried to eliminate all the gods and goddesses.

The argument propounded by one Order is that he tried to eliminate in particular the Priests of ISIS [in support of a Patriarchal agenda]. I see him more the enemy of AMUN (the Hidden) [and Polytheism] which is why he changed his name from Amun to Aton.

  • With respect to the name 'Cath-erine', I am reminded of the 'Cath-ars' [a heredical group in France] X-terminated by the Cath-olic Church which defines 'Catholic' with the word Universal.

In the OC-cult [Eye Cult...as in Oc-ulist], there is a story that in Atlantis, there were two opposing forces, the Kathars [from which Catholics emerged] and Pfrees [from which Freemasons emerged], but this may just be a Masonic long TALE [or TAIL].

For Ye Shall Know Them by their TAILS [or TALES].

  • @MrPseudox the cathars were true heretics ( in a good way) and the masons are liars since most of the original cathars were killed and nothing or much was translated by them into the church. it was the gnosticism that was borrowed. would make sense that masons would associate their origins with the trade unions from lemuria lol:) the pfrees taught in egypt akhnaton was one of thier students so was Moses. the Rosicrucian and Templar also some o Judaism was born from that knowledge.

  • @kahetel13 I see see you've done some homework...AHHA! Not many

on youtube are interested in that bit of esoterica. 'EYE' say It's always good to know the ROOTS and/or ROUTES traveled.

Actually it was the HOLY MOTHER, Holy Mother the Church , who sent the poor Cathars on their way from this world to the next. The Holy Mother also provided the same service for the TEMPLARS............... 'In Nomine Patris et Filii et Spiritu Sanctus...Amen, Amen, Amenhotep IV [or Akhnaton]'.

  • @MrPseudox and so have you done your homework as well:)) many blessings to you for spreading the thruth about the false gospel:) the templars and cathars and witches and pagans all murdered, this is not new even in egypt akhnaton was murdered and many dont know this in fact it was by bastards like the "holy church and masons" both who wear masks of deception and doctrines of "justification" catharina is a good example of what true freedom can bring ; hate jealousy, and fear.

  • Lyrisc:) The bloom of youth Shone from her lovely face A rose against her skin Would not seem out of place This silent succubi Had men enwrapt in dreams Such sweet seducers Are never what they seem Catherine [x16] The rage of unloved wives would seal this beauty's fate Many years of fading looks brought bitterness and hate A man of God must ensure Justice will be done For Satan dwells within The black heart of this one
  • @PlusSizeAngel which was typical back then:(

  • My name is Katarzyna, which means Catherine in English and because of this song and Eddie Van Halen's instrumental I just loved my name :)

  • From the Greek name Αικατερινη (Aikaterine). The etymology is debated: it could derive from the earlier Greek name ‘Εκατερινη (Hekaterine), which came from ‘εκατερος (hekateros) "each of the two"; it could derive from the name of the goddess HECATE; it could be related to Greek αικια (aikia) "torture";

  • @Nykteria96 or it could be from a Coptic name meaning "my consecration of your name". In the early Christian era it became associated with Greek καθαρος (katharos) "pure", and the Latin spelling was changed from Katerina to Katharina to reflect this.

  • @Nykteria96 very nice especially the Hekaterine part, didnt know this:) either way, its a nice song:)

  • I'd like to know the lyrics to this song. Does anyone know where I can get them?

    )O(

  • My name is Katarina... which means Catherina on English :D

  • She was too pretty at no point does the song say she actually slept with them

  • I'm not sure if catherine is intended to be a good name for the one this song is about because it says that satan dwells in the black heart of this one and that she is a deciever.

  • Catherine is a name of Greek origin and means 'pure/ virginal'... so I don't think satan has anything to do with it

  • @brandonc7591 if they actually checked the meaning of the name then it's perfect. The song can be interpreted in 2 ways: either Catherine really is evil, in which case her name is ironic; or else Catherine is innocent and a victim of jealousy and hysteria, in which case the name fits her nature. I think the second is the case here, considering how many of their songs criticise the Christianity's witch hunts.

  • @brandonc7591 Usually women of radiant beauty such as is described im this song tend to be vain without meaning to be. Not to mention 90% of the time people named Catherine, or any variant of spelling, tend to be very flirtatious whether they mean the feelings implied or not. The song has nothing to do with the meaning of the name itself

  • lol, my given name is Kathryn. Different from the spelling of y'all. :p

    Blessed be )O(

  • My middle name is Catherine!

  • I'm also Catherine=)

  • Ah, my sumons I adore this song. Catheriena is part of my magical name. I see this song aa a personal calling.

  • Most INKUBUS SUKKUBUS songs sound the same but 'Catherine' definitely stands out.

Along with amazing 'Witchhunt' and 'Delilah' it's my favourite track from them.

    Thanks for posting!

  • My name is Catharina.

I used to hate my name as a kid, thought it was the lamest thing ever, but I've grown to love it slowly as I understood it's a special name.

  • we catarina !!! hahahahahaha

  • This is a different version...never heard it before. I love it!

  • This version is from the 1995 album "Heartbeat of the Earth", whereas the original {without the guitar solo} is on 1994's "Wytches" album :)
