Not sure who said it's a clean sounding system, but i have to agree. This dude slapped some big money on this stuff and is not going to let it sound like shit by not adding plenty of mids and highs. But man he is dropping some serious bass in that beast.
You and I have different meanings of SQ. This is an amazing setup, I'll agree for Sound Pressure Level. But, I would not enjoy listening to music in this vehicle. There is no way that instruments can be accurately reproduced in time and space w all the metal and plastic rattling everywhere. Plus 18 inch subs have no ability to keep up with certain musical passages. 18's are loose, sloppy and move too much air. For what it's worth, obviously just my opinion.

With that nice of a set up theres no way he is just going for spl. i guarantee he has at least two speakers amps going to tweeters and 61/2's. People who push for straight spl dont have a quality set up, they have wires everywhere and half of their car torn out so they can fit more amps and less deadening. Id bet money that if you heard this system in person it would sound phenomenally clear.

You and I have different meanings of SQ. This is an amazing setup, I'll agree for Sound Pressure Level. But, I would not enjoy listening to music in this vehicle. There is no way that instruments can be accurately reproduced in time and space w all the metal and plastic rattling everywhere. Plus 18 inch subs have no ability to keep up with certain musical passages. 18's are loose, sloppy and move too much air. For what it's worth, obviously just my opinion.

With that nice of a set up theres no way he is just going for spl. i guarantee he has at least two speakers amps going to tweeters and 61/2's. People who push for straight spl dont have a quality set up, they have wires everywhere and half of their car torn out so they can fit more amps and less deadening. Id bet money that if you heard this system in person it would sound phenomenally clear.
