I don't know about all time, but seriously? Your characters skills and strengths are all picked for you. They way you fight is also picked for you (you lose stars if you are too slow, so you can't experiment and just enjoy the fights), WHEN you fight is picked for you - the game allows very little player input and all but plays itself. Boooo. Go back to fran, balthier, etc.

I don't know if it's gone downhill since 7, but it sure as hell has taken a huge crap with XIII. Come to think of it, XII wasn't much better.

If Nobuo uematsu was still doing the music it might have been more tolerable. But the music in XIII and XIII-2 especially is just fucking atrocious. I have to play with the sound nearly muted because it literally gives me a headache.

Correction - 7 was a good game, but terribly overrated. The ones with the most true-blue Final Fantasy storylines were the first 5, followed by 9, and even 10 was fairly good. 7 was okay, but both the main character and main antagonist were boring as hell. In all truth, the true main antagonist of the game should have been Hojo - at least he was DOING something to make things worse.

To be fair, "flawless" is not the best choice of words when describing Skyrim. Rehash of a largely unimproved engine, glitchy as hell, improved yet still stiff and ugly animation, overly repetitive NPC dialogue, easily exploited leveling system, somewhat unimpressive graphics, inevitable Betheshit horse armoring, etcetera. Even so, it still manages to be a far superior to overrated games like Final Fantasy XIII/XII-2 and even Skyward Sword.

They really don't make them like they used to, FFs I thru X were the defining titles, nothing else. Blitzball was surprisingly addictive, I can't wait for FFX-HD, I think I heard Blitzball could possibly have multiplayer. o_o

Well I've been recently eyeing this series, though i don't personally play it only because I own a 360 not a PS2/3. Last time I checked, Squaresoft was going downhill and was on the verge of calling it quits, until they made FF1, and the rest is history. Even if things are bad now, they can still get better.
