  • It may be depends on the basses, double bass package with b 1 subs. integrated sub in the compact is cheaper

  • I live in Thailand.... I want' to know how effect you use on your guitar...

soud is very same acoustic.... share to me please.

    thank you

  • Thanks for share with us , could you tell me please the name of the last song?

  • @nortru Hi... It's Horse With No Name by America

  • I've been the owner of the L1 Model II and The Compact. To me there's no comparison. The Compact sounds much better. The Compact is brighter so it cuts right through any noisy crowd. I like The Compact so much, I bought TWO of them and put one on each side of me. Having enough volume is never an issue with two.

  • Very helpful video, well done! The compact seems to have more definition, especially for vocals. On the L1 the vocals seem a bit less defined probably because of the better bass response of the L1.

Generally, the L1 is more pleasing to the ear and has a more balanced sound.

I liked your guitar and singing solo act, this demo sounds really good on either system! Excellent job!

  • I listened objectively to this demo firstly blind' to get a feel of the sound without knowing which system was used. The l1 sounds pro' , you know that extra depth and quality, while the compact sounds wannabe . No matter how you try you can't make a pony into a race-horse. Compact is aimed at the acoustic/vocal performer in small

venue. I never looked back after buying my L1 system,a life defining moment.

  • Thanks! Great A/ B Demo! Just what I was wondering. (Sound Quality Difference) Perfect.

  • Thx for the video. I've got an L1 Model 2 coming within the week and I'm wondering how I'll be able to hook it up to my laptop and use the effects in Logic for a live performance. Any advice? Thx

  • Jeff, did you get the T1 mixer with your Model2? If so, your laptop into the T1 via usb is a simple solution that also sounds amazing. The T1 is a quality soundcard as well as a mixer.

  • you play very well! the L1 is warmer & clearer, I wonder how big a volume of space it can handle. that would be very handy for gigs. nice posts 5****

  • good job, what are you using to get your reverb mix in your vocals?

  • On this one, #2, I agree that the compact sounds a bit more even. On the guitar and vocal both.

Video #1 sounded a bit richer in the backing tracks thru the L1. Again...something that EQ might be able to compensate for.

  • I like the Compact better, much more cleaner focused sound.

  • Hi, could you tell me please what's the Compact 2 website?? THANK YOU

  • Very nice idea, and well executed. I think that the Compact system focuses the vocals better, but lacks the fullness that the sub provides on the L1 standard. How do you come to have both? Too much extra money? Thanks. Jeff.

  • Thank you, Jeff. I agree with you observations. For smaller gigs I would not hesitate to use the Compact. But for larger or noisier rooms I think the L1 has much more "cut" and of course loads more headroom, especially in the low end.

  • @espgold you can use it as a monitor off a large PA system at bigger gigs!

  • Well, thank you billiejoel. I appreciate you watching and weighing in. Tell me... do you have a preference for either sound??

  • Nice job man. Not only a good comparison, but the vocals and guitar work are excellent.
