I would have loved to live back then. Imagine reading a Spider-Man comic book for the first time or watching an Alfred Hitchcock movie in the big screen! Or watching the freakin amazing tv shows they had back then. This book I have to admit has made me somewhat jealous lol.
FUCK YOU STIFFEN THING! HE GOT A HOLD OF MY MANUSCRIPT "JFK ZOOLOGICAL HORROR" CHERRY PICK IT INFRINGED AND IS PLAGING IT THROUGH OUT THE PUBLIC TO CONCEAL ITS THEIR EVIL. BY THE WAY STIFFIN THING IS AN "REPTILIAN SHAPESHIFTER" SEE ON YOUTUBE.
I loved the book and would have gave it a five out of five. Great review though and there was to many sex scenes in this book, king could have just used one or maybe 2. Who was your abortive character? Mine would have to be jake because he was a typical American that got the chance to change history and fall in love
I loved the book, but I had a some of the same problems with it that you did. The first sex scene was fine, but King should have left it at that. The reader doesn't need to know every time characters have sex. It's just assumed, like using the bathroom or eating. Also, I wish King had given more pages to the pivotal point in the story: the JFK assassination. Too many pages are devoted to Jake tracking Oswald.
@MrWildboy94 Hahaha I'll see if I do when I read it :) I'm onto House Rules now lol. Then Inheritence and finally back to SK. The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon :P
I loved the ending line that George said.... :) Well, you enjoyed it? Tehe, I TOLD you. And The Silence of the Lambs is my favorite movie ever so I'm sure I would love the movie.
@KiraismyLord Yeah, it was good. Not one of my absolute favorites, but it was good for a drama. And yes, I loved that ending line! It had that final touch of romantic finale to it hahahah.
Finished it just today it was awesome

As a man who's read the book cover to cover, three times, I do not understand your complaint at about 5:00.

@CackleOfTheBanned What, about the ending explanation?
MrWildboy94 3 weeks ago
@MrWildboy94 Yes. Could you maybe PM me, or reply as a comment that's a SPOILER, and spam your own comment so no one accidentally reads it?

Good review.

I would be very interested to know what part of the ending you disliked, just to see if it is the same point that I thought was poorly done.

@vidfreak32 Well, just don't expect a Bag of Bones or an IT hahah. It's more of a soft, gentle ending note hahah. Still, it was a good book.
