While I agree that Toy Story 3, as well as the other 2, was simply amazing and a core part of my childhood, and that making a 4th after ending the 3rd so powerfully might be a grave mistake, I can't help but remember that I thought much the same when I first heard that Pixar was making 3.
While I'm not sure that there should be a Toy Story 4, Pixar has proven that they know what they're doing - if they are making a 4, expect great things.

Later she told me how these lyrics exactly mirrored how she felt since my Dad had died five years earlier.
My Mom died three days ago and this song is for her.

Like a lot of other commenters, I was very touched by Toy Story 3. When I got home after watching it, I went to the toys on the bottom shelf of my bookshelf, and hugged them and kissed them and told them I loved them, because I felt so damned guilty! I watched the Toy Story films more often than any other animated films growing up (CGI or traditional, not that there was a glut of CGI films in the 90s) and TS3 was the perfect ending to a wonderful trilogy. Go Pixar!!
I got teary during the opening montage, the incinerator scene and the beautiful scene when Andy played with Bonnie. If it wasnt for the lighthearted credits I would have cried :(

@trickso My first toy, a bunny head on a small blanket, has been thrown out since now. It made me cry when I was 7 frantically searching for it. As a child I took it everywhere. After all those trips of taking it, it eventually ripped. My mom tried to get another or fix it up, but the toy was at a lost and they were done making them. May your memories last, and the happiness stay.
What bastard would dislike this video. When the toys stayed together before sliding into the fire...I teared up. When Andy showed Bonnie the toys and their names, I got watery. By the time Woody said "So Long, Partner", I was sobbing. What a fabulous and sentimental ending to the greatest animated movie trilogy of all time.

While I first heard this song in the Toy Story 3 trailer (and loved that video montage), I now associate this with what I think Randy originally intended it to be about - a girl. In this case, the one that broke my heart last Friday. Boo.
I then went with some friends to see Toy Story 3 the night after to cheer me up. Boy did it ever. I was crying with laughter a few times, like in the the tortilla scene and Ken's dress-up scene.
If they used this song in the film I would probably have cried.
when i was little i saw the first movie with my brother then second one came out it was awesome. but as the years passed i forgot my childhood and the movie but when the trailer for the 3rd movie came out i was amazed me and my brothers went to see the movie at the end i cried. after the movie i realized how i am stupid forgetting my childhood memories they were the best years of my life. this movie taught me a lesson to hold on to your memories and never forget them...

The Toy Story Trilogy will always be #1 to me, and it always has.
As for Toy Story 3 I am speechless, so many chills, it's really stomach-wrenching and tear-enducing, but most of all it's so bittersweet. I don't know what I cried over more, the sadness or the happiness. But I did, SO much at it, almost balled. I cried even after it and cried myself to sleep the night after I saw it.
You would have to be made of stone NOT to cry at it!

@trickso My first toy, a bunny head on a small blanket, has been thrown out since now. It made me cry when I was 7 frantically searching for it. As a child I took it everywhere. After all those trips of taking it, it eventually ripped. My mom tried to get another or fix it up, but the toy was at a lost and they were done making them. May your memories last, and the happiness stay.

What bastard would dislike this video. When the toys stayed together before sliding into the fire...I teared up. When Andy showed Bonnie the toys and their names, I got watery. By the time Woody said "So Long, Partner", I was sobbing. What a fabulous and sentimental ending to the greatest animated movie trilogy of all time.

i saw toy story as a boy and after i saw it the first time i watched it every single night (not lying) and when i found out about toy story 3 i got realy excited i have seen it 5 times and have cried every time this is the best movie of all time... its stupid how a great video like this only gets 33,125 views yet some justin bieber crap gets 100 million views god this is a horrible generation of teens who like homos like bieber and girls with penis like lady gaga. stupid stupid people

@briansherbert I agree that Toy Story 3 is a great film (Love it to pieces) and that this song is beautiful. (jerks some tears in ma eyes) But then, you act like "homo's" are bad. (which according to my knowledge, JB hasn't come out as gay lol) I don't like his songs personally but it annoys me when people call him gay and use it as an insult.
Oh and Lady Gaga doesn't have a penis lol. She's a woman....

Oh my god, it's physically impossible for me to stop crying right now. Never has a movie made me this emotional. I've seen it four times over three weeks, and I still sob even at the mere thought of the ending.

While I first heard this song in the Toy Story 3 trailer (and loved that video montage), I now associate this with what I think Randy originally intended it to be about - a girl. In this case, the one that broke my heart last Friday. Boo.
I then went with some friends to see Toy Story 3 the night after to cheer me up. Boy did it ever. I was crying with laughter a few times, like in the the tortilla scene and Ken's dress-up scene.
If they used this song in the film I would probably have cried.

when i was little i saw the first movie with my brother then second one came out it was awesome. but as the years passed i forgot my childhood and the movie but when the trailer for the 3rd movie came out i was amazed me and my brothers went to see the movie at the end i cried. after the movie i realized how i am stupid forgetting my childhood memories they were the best years of my life. this movie taught me a lesson to hold on to your memories and never forget them...

The Toy Story Trilogy will always be #1 to me, and it always has.
As for Toy Story 3 I am speechless, so many chills, it's really stomach-wrenching and tear-enducing, but most of all it's so bittersweet. I don't know what I cried over more, the sadness or the happiness. But I did, SO much at it, almost balled. I cried even after it and cried myself to sleep the night after I saw it.
You would have to be made of stone NOT to cry at it!

@Snotrodhufferfish me too, i was crying after the movie until i couldn't cry anymore. and all the little kids in the theatre looked at me like i was crazy. But they didn't understand how touching that movie is for people in their teens and older. oh well, when i buy it, i'm gonna let it all out.
