I don't understand why someone would dislike this video. Imagining that there are children in other states going through the same situation is just devastating.

I was a "Motel kid" in Anaheim 17 years ago, because my Mom made poor choices. I am in my 30's now and looking back on my childhood, I am most thankful for organizations that didn't condemn me for my parents mistakes and reached out to provide the much needed direction to succeed. I am now very grateful for the life I have and I know how important it is to help the children. I didn't read about motel kids, I was a motel kid.

I'm with Beach Cities Radio and am going to high-light this video next week. I look at this and ask myself.....what can I do and how can I help?

This gentleman is right, the children are not at fault to be in this unfortunate situation. If we are able to help we should. All children deserve love a home and should not have to worry about a meal.

It's better than being homeless. The adults are still having kids, even though they are living here. It's time to grow up!

yep, it's a difficult question.. what do we do with parents that don't take responsibility for their children? Naturally we want to help the kids, but how can we prevent this happening in the first place?
