So Martin Luther is evil? Luther wasn't questioning God, he was questioning some of the church's actions. The church was selling indulgences (free pass for sinning if you pay a price). What denomination is the Aplogeticsgroup associated with? Seems to me that there is a lack of research on church history here. I'm getting the impression that this video series is just a finger pointing session. I am still going to watch with an open mind though. Peace of the Lord be always with you.

@B4mytyme In the OT animals were sacrificed. Because God is holy and righteous, we deserve something when we sin. I don't want to know what the world would be like if no one believed that there would be a negative consequence to their actions. Because God loved us so much He sent Jesus as sacrifice. Therefore we just need a living faith and repent to be forgiven and justified.

@B4mytyme I think it's right because: 1)I believe in God and have experienced Him, so I think that I am in no place to know better. 2)When I think about it, a god can vary in how righteous or how loving he is. If a god was all love and no justice, then I would expect more chaos and violence. People will not take god seriously. If he was all justice and no love, people will be forced to do the right thing, and will hate him for not having any choice in the matter. God is righteous and loving so..

@BJ151 ..I think it’s the best option. We will take Him seriously, because we deserve death, but because He’s loving He removed that burden and gave us the choice to believe in Him. Jesus is our example. God also works through people, so He shows how he loves and forgives through people aswell.
