    Michel Mordant

  • Suena bellisimo, me arrulla. Musica de dios. Porque se llama Salsa Mexicana?

Keep playing beatiful songs like that Mr Stengaard. God bless you.

  • Is this your most difficult six mallet piece that you've composed, or is hard to say.

  • @percussionist624

I would say that my new Hexagram is the hardest :-)

  • wow, you're awesome! :D

  • So organic. Well done. Outstanding!

  • My standard mallet mix when playing six mallets is from the Pro Mark Kai Stensgaard Autograph Line:

left hand: for mallet 1 I use KS2, for mallet 2+3 I use mallet KS4

right hand: for mallet 4+5+6 I use mallet KS5

This combination works very well for most pieces.

I use this combination when I am playing Salsa Mexicana,

The KS6 Shaker mallets I am using in my Two Mayan Dances. I put them in left hand as mallet 2+3.

  • which mallets do you use specifically?

  • Try a percussion music store like Steve Weiss. Just use two different sounding ankle bells

  • what were you wearing on your ankles and where can i buy some?

  • Cool!
