I think all of the Yankees off season efforts should be to sign Roy Halladay. If they get him, the chances of a new dynasty become very likely. Once he is brought on board the front office can see about resigning Matsui and Damon, or other free agents. To get Hallady would be one of their best moves ever. He is a wonderful talent, and when you consider the Red Sox will be after him too, it becomes crucial to put him in pinstripes. What a pitching rotation they will have then.

To clarify my point about Halladay: He has one year left on his current contract, meaning he will be aquired in a trade. I wouldn't hesitate to give the Blue Jays several of the Yankees top prospects in order to have Hallady in The Bronx. Hopefully A.J. Burnett can help out since he is Roy's former teammate in Toronto. He can let Roy known how fine it is to win it all in the baseball capitol of the world.

What a great feeling, I'm grateful and happy for the Yankees and what they do. I'm hoping the Yankees can re-sign Pettite, Matsui.. He's younger, and I feel better than Damon. Plus Damon is a Redsox. I'd like to see the Yankees get Holliday, or Jason Bay. I know Bay is a Redsox now but I feel he'd be a great fit with the Yankees.
