Can you please tell us why the first 2 WP7 CDMA devices chosen by Sprint and Verizon suck donkey balls? The EVO hardware was released nearly a year ago and it looks like state of the art hardware compared to the Trophy and the Pro.

Question 2 - any guess on when we might see a CDMA device with at least a few of the following

4-4.3" screen?

SLIM design 11mm or less

1.2 Ghz or dual core processor

BT 3.0

1500mah or greater battery

My contract is up with Sprint, Verizon would be fine.

Hi, I'm Sam, and I have a question for my WP7 Phone. I like the speech recognition, it works well. However I believe it is not deep enough to be really useful. It only calls and opens applications. Calling is not bad, maybe if you're driving. But I was wondering if Microsoft have any plans to futher update it, so that more of the OS is can be navigated/utilized using the voice recognition, ie 'create appointment on 23rd march 2011, at 3pm' or something. I'm sure they already have the technology.

thunderbolt is better it has a 1ghz snapdragon 3 gen processor and lg dumped the tegra 2 becuase snapdragon was able to run netflix

I've also watched some videos that say its quicker if boothing directly from phone than through sd card. at the moment i just bought my hd2 and enjoying it but might decide to add another os later. Hi I'm Daniel, and may I ask a question. I have the htc desire running cm7, is it safe to under clock your processor to save power using profiles on set cpu? This is because many people have said that you can damage the processor. :)

@danielsf94 overclocking damages more than underclocking, undercooking can save the CPU, thats why the phones are underclocked by default

@danielsf94 from what i've heard from conversations with techy guys (physics majors etc) underclocking serves no danger it's overclocking that can damage as higher voltages are passing through the cpu then it was designed to use (not that it conserns me too much, i've OCed my G2). If you think about it windows 7 underclocks natively on laptops (power saver mode), they wouldn't write it into the OS without HUGE consultation with Intel and AMD

@danielsf94 yea it's safe to underclock your phone. over clocking past the set mghz is dangerous but your phone won't explode.

The Thunderbolt IS NOT AN EVO 4G ON VERIZON It has MORE RAM, and a NEXT GEN SnapDragon. The THunderbolt scores higher on quadrant then the Bionic. Please Do your research.

@Madkillr05 its definitely more updated than evo 4g, but to be honest, im not really impressed by the specs of the thunderbolt. id say its more like desire hd. but desire hd has been around for some time now. dual core is definitely the route to go. even quad core are already in development.

as for quadrant results, i dont think they are optimized for dual core processors. and there are other benchmarking apps better than quadrant.

@Madkillr05 There is only one reason why the quadrant score is higher for the Thunderbolt. It is because the quadrant was not set up for dual core as of yet... The phone still did well with out being set up for Dual Core. 512MB DDR2 is faster 768MB.. Don't get me wrong The Thunderbolt is a good phone. But I think the Droid Bionic will be much Better. especially after it gets ice cream sandwich.

How will Google relase the new Android verions? I read that Android 2.4 still going to be Gingerbread and 2.3 is reserved for the Nexus S. And I also read that Android 2.4 and 3.0 will "smelt" togeather and there not gonna be a Tablet version of android.

So Honeycomb and IceCream will "die" and there's gonna be Android 2.4 Gingerbread both for tablets and Phones in the future?

Wait if you can either for the HTC Thunderbolt or the HTC Incredible S, the Desire S is just a revamped version of the original desire with nearly the same specs. If you can't wait for a 4G device, just take the Desire HD it's really worth the purchase^^
