Hi, every state or province has its own rules and regulation. If you are sharing the condo or house with a roommate, i am not sure if there is even any rules and regulation. It sounds to me it is just a consent between you two. The landlord and tenant act is to regulate the relationship between landlord and tenant, not among roommates. I hope it helps.
I am on a month to month and if the buyer wanted me out all he has to do is give me a 30 day eviction notice and same thing goes if it was still the previous owner that wanted me out would have to do! If the tenant decides to move the tenant must give a 60 day notice! I want to leave when I am ready to leave so what I do, I bend the act. I send my rent via registered mail, I keep receipts and signatures, I write an imaginary 60 day notice geared to a receipt and I leave in 30 days!

How much time do I have to give my room mate to move. I thought 30 days is that correct? I'm in Oregon.
