  • nice tut bro u showd nice methods for editing paths

  • By the way Thanks for your tutorial!

  • Is this same shit working on Ilustrator or Photoshop . ? Isn't photoshop "only" for photos because of pixels and illustrator for logos and because of vector. Explain pls ;)

  • @GamesForLifes999 Photoshop can indeed make vector images, but it's primarily for pixel work. Where as Illustrator is primarily for vector work.

When using Photoshop for vector designs, you need to make sure you're using only the vector tools and blending options. No brushes or anything that draws using pixels.

  • @pfltuts Oky doky ;). If i erase something can i do with lasso tool and path tool-> right click on path -> make selection ... Thanks!.

  • @pfltuts Can you make one tutorial what you "can" use and what you don't want to ;). To show in tutorial what are the tools to draw with vector... Thanks!.

  • Can you lay out you drawing on your website???

  • thanks

  • How can this logo come out as a vector when according to my research Photoshop only produces rasterized images even when only using vector shapes?

  • very cool one!

  • Wow, you make Photoshop look soooo easy!

    But it's nooooot :-)

  • thnx man, very usefull tutorial. I never understood the real use of those different vectors. You made it clear to me. thnx again

  • Couldn't you just do this in Illustrator? Also why did you use shapes, would it be possible just to use the pen tool instead of adding all the shapes? Great tutorial though, I learned a lot I didn't know. Keep up the great work.

  • @skillz1178 I chose to use Photoshop because I am more comfortable in PS rather than Illustrator. Illustrator gives you more tools to work with and has more options, but I find myself spending too much time trying to figure things out in Illustrator.

You could definitely use only the pen tool in Photoshop, but using pre-made shapes and then modifying them, allows you to get the job done much quicker. Some times pre-made shapes even turn out nicer.

  • Why didn't you do this in illustrator? Im curious to know why photoshop. I was thought to use illustrator for making vector images. Good job tho. =) I liked it!

  • Wb indeed :) absolutely epic tutorial :D I luv dat skull =D
