Have you played the entirety on the actual SMW... in one of Bowser's world's levels.. the keyhole is right at the exit in plain sight.

You jump right over it to reach the goal.

There is another keyhole in plain sight as well. I forget the level tho.

So.. not all keyholes are hidden.
