Ah, the foxbat mission in the tutorial I believe he's talking about, you go behind the fence near the ambulances and he's got one foot stuck behind a little piece of rubble, you have to destroy it and he gives you a quest, go round the corner and you see his weapons crate, use it and you get a badass supersonic-Pingpong gun, it does hecka load of damage. But only 3 uses ;( Hope it helped!
