  • How can we believe anything this TRAITOROUS liar says?? :-P~~

  • I really miss *this* Barack Obama; the one I voted for....

  • <---- Non-Believer

  • I gave up listening to anything this guy says a long time ago..

  • 4:32 . . . . . Amen

  • Anyone eating shelfish would be an Obamanation

  • @dwissman hahahaha

  • Yay let's all vote for guy who just passed a bill to indefinitely detain Americans without being charged with a crime because he is so cool! Let's vote for the guy who receives millions in campaign contributions from Goldman Sachs and has billionaire bankers as his top advisors! He's continued the Bush wars and even started new ones, but who cares! He's not anything like Bush! He's not religious so he's definitely got my vote since that's the only thing that matters. /sarcasm

    Ron Paul 2012 FTW

  • heres the state that america is in

pat tillman an NFL football player turns down millions in the NFL to join the army and serve in afghanestan where he ultimately gave his life for his country, and no one ever ever ever talks about him

tim tebow a no talent QB who has to pray to an imaginary sky daddy before each snap asking that he dont fumble the ball

one is christian and being treated like an american hero

    the other was an atheist

kinda makes me want to vomit

  • I am rather certain this man is not a Christian, thank god, its nice to know someone with sense is in the Oval office

  • Obama seems intelligent enough to understand any atheists who aims to become president will have to pretend to be a Christian, I'm almost certain he is not a Christian.

  • What I don't understand is, if he can point out how FUCKING ridiculous religion is, why does he identify with it? *face palm/pulls hair*

  • @yobouysway denouncing your faith to christianity as a US president = political suicide. alot of political figures make it clear what they really think while "staying faithful"

  • @TheTomBombadill Ron Paul is the solution of the world :)

  • @OnlySticksAndStones even though he's a creationist, he'll still get my vote.

  • @OnlySticksAndStones any atheist would NOT want to see Ron Paul as president...

  • @KrankyBIAS ok why?

  • @benopolly because what most atheists desire is a freedom from religion in government, a secular nation. My american friends have pointed out the parts of the the American constitution which seeks to separate church and state, but Ron Paul claims that "it has no basis within the text of our constitution, or the writings of our founding fathers."

People only support Ron Paul because of his views on war and weed.

  • first time seeing this speech, he's getting a second vote from me this november

  • Awesome speech. This is so nice to see after the non-stop religious pandering of the Republicans.

  • Obama you speak the truth in wisdom, perhaps the smartest realist that ever lived. Thanks for enlightening us with your speech.

  • I just fell in love with Obaama!!!

  • Obama.. I fucking love you.

  • too bad he never means what he says.

  • @InTylerWeTrust84 I think he actually meant this. It's considered political suicide to talk wrongly of religion.

  • "I like your Christ. I do not like your Christians. They are so unlike your Christ."

    - Mahatma Gandhi 1869-1948

  • Jesus is not accepting of all people. If you believe this you are possibly the most ignorant individuals in the world. A god (not capitalized for a reason) that strikes fear in the lives of his followers to require complete submission with no regards to their free will is a biast and unjust god. We call individuals like this in todays society dictators, tyrants, or socio- paths. Christians feel directly attacked because any religion takes opposition as a direct attack of their beliefs.

  • I really don't get it. Obama is calling for the acceptance of all religions INCLUDING Christianity, yet Christians take this as a direct attack against them. Christians make up such an insignificant proportion of this world's population, yet they believe they are superior to everyone else. Get over yourselves and start practicing real love rather than the false love you preach to buy your way into heaven.

  • Succesfull president is succesfull.

  • He makes highly rational remarks and these need to resound in all of politics. However, his delivery of the speech was weak. He is a much better speaker than. He should redo this speech in his powerful tone, and add this to his political campaign.

  • This guy is excellent guy.

  • This is the greatest thing that this man has ever said

  • Senator Barack Obama was so awesome. RIP 2008

  • Logic crits your face for over 9000 damage

  • People need to get over themselves and realize not everyone is of the same belief system of you.

  • How about don't teach religion whatsoever. If religion and faith is something of so much truth, I think a person would find it in their life at the right time. Go democracy!

  • That evil fucker. How dare he not support slavery and stonning. I hate Atheit evil. How fucking dare they treat everyone equally.

  • @KeshnerfFilms Even though your probably joking, the teachings of Jesus say that acts such as slavery and stoning are wrong and immoral.

  • @polishguy994 Gimmie verse numbers.

  • @KeshnerfFilms Read the Sermon on the mount and the sermon on the plain. Both of those sermons teach about how people should show love to their fellow man and be good people in general.

  • @polishguy994 Unless they're gay, of other religions, had an abortion, or don't follow God's rules.

  • @KeshnerfFilms Um... no. Jesus is accepting of all people. Most of his followers aren't. True Christians should not give two shits about any sort of prejudicial mindsets. They should treat all people with the same amount of love and support. Passive Christianity and blatantly disrespectful Christianity are... wait for it... not Christianity.

It's not about saying Jesus's name. It's about following his teachings.

People lose sight of this in a heartbeat, even if it's the basis.

  • you dont see the real meaning of those bibles verses its not what he makes it seem

  • fuck this garbage. how about we don't teach bullshit to our children?

  • This man is evil

  • No Obama

  • Obama is awesome :)

  • @StarControl69 Well I mean he figths bush wars, imprisoned Bradley, continues to do nothing about the fact that america is a corporate hellhole.

I don't know, just because he has good views doesn't mean that he is a good president.

  • @Imhornydadcomeinside I think he doing quite well considering the four years he's been in office....I mean he's no Theodore Roosevelt, but it could be worse you know?

  • @StarControl69 Is he? He isn't doing anything really.

  • @Truthforfreedom1 And anarchy is a better solution. Just let power decide who controls what, am I right? Big bad government charges taxes and gives us nothing in return, no public education system, no economic regulations, no standard of living increase over fending for ourselves with rifles and the sweat of our own backs. They don't protect us worth a damn and they don't manage international trade for us or anything like that.

  • I love this man.

  • Church is a man—made invention. There's nothing godly about playing church. Some call it sectarianism (religion). It's mammon worship. Hebrews 9: 11—12 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building (creation); Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

  • He's right "Folks haven't been reading the bible". Otherwise, there wouldn't be religious people!

  • blah blah, blasphemy, blah blah, non-believer, blah blah...

The USA was created by some of the most radically liberal thinkers of all times, the founding fathers. And now a significant part of the US population embraces intolerant, illiberal values. Religious fundamentalism is one example.

Oh USA, how far below can you be from the rest of the West? You used to guide the way for all the others.

  • obama mocks about christianity. this is blasphemy

  • @DrPunjabi

    ALL religions worth "MOCKING"!!

  • I knew I loved this man for a reason.

  • great speech

  • Obama for a second term!! Then Let Joe Biden have a shot. Free this financially dead country from the money grabbing bible thumping conservatives. I am very liberal but I believe that if we took religion completely away from politics maybe republicans would be on an even keel and work with the demos to get this economy back up and running.

  • I believe he's an atheist despite him saying he is religous. To become the president of the states you have to believe in god

  • @Darkeons I agree. You can't get anywhere these days unless you say I believe in god. I think for neutral publicity Obama talks as if he's bound by christianity where as he hates how it has made republicans so twisted. I hope we don't lose him to Palin.

  • @weirdguy75 oh my lol... if Palin becomes president i'm just gonna give up on it all haha. I mean if a whole country would actually elect someone like her as president, then there's truely no hope left.

  • Finally! An american president who ISN'T a superstisious lunatic.

  • "Be not decieve, God is NOT mocked"

  • as a taxpayer, I sure wish there weren't so many religious factors in politics

  • @roofy2k I wish there were no religious factors in politics whatsoever. I wish people could get past religion in general.

  • Obama's quotes on religion sound to me just as to the fact of us being a serious Country for Freedom. Not Anarchy, but hard core freedom.

  • George Bush Sike Obama For Yo Mama

  • Obama is not a Christian. The evidence is found in an interview to the Chicago Sun Times. He said that Jesus was a "historical figure" and that Hindu's can be saved without Jesus, that we don't know what happens when we die and that Gandhi was the best religious model.

Obama YOU need to read the bible. Some Old Testament laws have been superseded by grace.

  • @3161029 I found something that was quite interesting. There was an earthquake some where in Japan (February 27 I believe). The earthquake was a magnitude 8.8. Two months later an oil rig exploded (April 22). You ever read revelations 8.8? The majority of earthquakes reported is a magnitude 7 (in areas of the world that matter). 7 is the number of God. I wonder if there's some connection between the earthquakes and Gods word. The bible is to be used as a compose. Food for thought.

  • @3161029 Its almost as though he focuses on choice scripture to base his argument. Instances where as. Oh my God, he uses the scripture of Abraham and his son as an example of why the bible and its text is outrageous when really its been God's only desire to show himself approved and worthy of mans praise. Why am I the only one who gets this. Who wants mans love? Its not eternal, plus he could stab you in the back, but God's love is ever lasting. Good grief, am I the only one??

  • @Rx7even

You are not alone! You can't be a christian just by declaring yourself one. You have to be saved, that is to believe that Jesus will save us from our sin and doom because he, with the trinity, IS THE ONE AND ONLY GOD. Jesus in not just a historical figure, he is THE SAVIOR.

  • @stevestewart7777 You don't find it presumptuous to say that Jesus is a historical figure?

  • @3161029

Obama has said nothing wrong...he is right, anyone can be saved without having to believe in christ...

  • I have nothing to say, but for him who is ignorant of scripture in time will be damed. Sure I am not worthy and fall short, but believe me you, there's a lesson to be taught and learned . Thank you Lord Jesus for my understanding.

  • Comment removed

  • @Rx7 for you are so special to have an understanding that erases true morality

  • @carlito00pr True morality? And you think true morality is expressed in this "society". True morality, haha, I laugh. Nothing in this day and age is in correlation with what defines TRUE MORALITY. Our virtues regarding sexual matters (yeah right), and lets not start with mans conformity to doing whats right.

Nothing is right, nothing is right, nothing is right. Point Blank. VERI CHIPS BRO, give me a break.

  • @Rx7even You misinterpreted my statement I'll just let you in stay in your pool of ignorance

  • Jesus I dare you to come back.

  • Sorry but this is a Christian nation and we should only have Christian presidents and Christian lawmakers. Obama is a colored man and that is why America is in a recession it is their fault. Plus you have to give your soul to Christianity because if you don't will you burn in hell forever and that is a solid fact.

  • @JesusChristRulesYOU You know, I thought Christianity was about peace and love. Kindness to your fellow man, whether he be different to you in skin colour, sexuality, beliefs etc.

Not condemning a man just because he's different from you, but forming friendships and alliances. A perfect world would have members of all various groups and skin colours and sexualities united as one human race.

  • @JesusChristRulesYOU As a pastafarian I believe in something different to you. My beliefs may seem silly, may seem like a joke. But I have all the same rights that you have. I have the right to believe in my beliefs, and so do you. But that gives you no right to murder those who are slightly different. If there is a god, then he wouldn't care if somebody is gay, straight, black, white, Jewish, Christian, Atheist, Pastafarian. He would love us all the same and would allow all in to heaven.

  • @DarkEvilWorm002 It does matter. You can't, after having heard and refuse to do whats right. You have the choice to be gay, and so in it the right. I have the right to what ever I please. Its mans choice that defines him; that captivates the hearts of the old and renown. Don't allow for this,"In The Moment", society keep you from what really matters. Do whats right!!

  • @JesusChristRulesYOU sorry but what u just said is very prejudice and that is a sin so ya gl with ur dumb preaching when u dont know what ur talkin about

  • @JesusChristRulesYOU lol u know it's people like you that make so many people hate christianity

  • Comment removed

  • @JesusChristRulesYOU i'm completely Christian born again at age 13 and baptized but plz do not think that because our president is colored, America is not a Christian country. U should know GOD has not given up on AMERICA. people everyday are becoming of his kingdom. America was found on the basis of Christianity true and yes AMERICA is falling because of sin to many things. don;t be so radical either. when u comment u represent christians everywhere

  • @JesusChristRulesYOU another thing u don't give your life to christianitty, but to a realitty in Jesus

  • @JesusChristRulesYOU This is not a Christian nation, you're a retard. Get off YouTube and go to school.

  • An unamerican American president , douche bag.

  • Which religion agrees with abortion?

  • hope this is not the anti christ........

  • What happened to this free-thinking young man? I haven't seen him anywhere recently.

  • The only purpose of religion is to give emotional comfort to simple people.

  • @OhReallyNoWai no.. it is to control people... mentally and physically

  • Obama still thinks that he of himself as "the one we have all been waiting for". His words, not mine. Scary indeed. Yet, with every massive spending bill he passes his popularity goes down. If we let him continue on this path he will ruin America.

  • you sir mr. obama are mocking america and religion and you call your self christian you lying muslim politics do need religion and yes America is a christian nation you lying muslim

Obama God does that to test his obidence to god you and stop making stuff about the bible and your so called christian faith

my god help you see America is a christian nation

  • America is a free country. You can pursue any religion you desire. We are guaranteed freedom of religion. Religion is a private issue. I don't care what President Obama's religion is. He's the President, not a church preacher. Many Conservatives have told me they don't believe Democrats are truly Christian, yet they love Mitt Romney, who is a Mormon. The doctrine of the LDS Church is very contradicts true Christianity. Don't judge the man on his faith. That's his business.

  • One of the best speeches I've heard from a President (or presidential candidate.) That speech should clear it all up for everyone. Thank goodness for Obama. Level-headed and honest and cerebral. Best President ever.

  • @iciavosser Best president ever whos approval rating just hit 45%. Liberal Massachussets support Scott Brown more than Obama and Kerry. He is a joke. He is a muslim, anti-american, socialist borderline marxist. You are obviously a kool-aid drinking marxist yourself since you love your savior so much. He has done nothing to help this country so far. Nothing!

  • @31guitar Hey, man, what'd I do to you? Take it easy. I just like the guy. I didn't call you names or get on YOUR case, did I? Chill out a little. Just because you don't agree with me is no reason to get all bent out of shape. Sorry I offended you!

  • @iciavosser The apology is mine. My emotions got the better of me. It doesn't change the stance of my argument. If you knew what this guy was up to, u wouldn't think hes the best president

  • I *wish* he was an atheist - a president that subscribes to know unbased faith would be a dream. Sadly, he's another Christian, as per the standards of the mindless American people.

  • All I have to say is this "One day every knee will bow and every tounge will confess that Jesus is Lord!"

  • " He seems to be a pretty equal-treatment guy. Equal in that he tries to mention this subject to a minimum usually....at least, from what I've seen of him. Let's just say he were shown to be an atheist or came out and said he was. Then what? Exactly what does that have to do with his presidency? This scenario would highlight the insanity of a large part of the American public to the world if anyone actually 'took action' afterwords. "

    -WhyWon'tGodHealAmputees-

  • i think if he said what he really thinks some nut case religious fool would kill him,he knows all religions are bs and have no place in the future accept in the books of history

  • @jmhhump316 Oh wake up. The Bible was written by MAN!

Your religion is no superior than any other, and that's being generous, as I think there are plenty of religions MUCH more enlightened than Christianity. (Buddhism for example)

The fact is, Obama has to deal with the fact that we live in a multicultural world, and he's not going to make any progress by appealing to ONE group's intolerance of all others.

Obama makes a mockery of the BIBLE! Not God. There's a big difference.

  • Well done, Obama.

He does a great job of being fair and unassuming, yet firm and reasonable, on the subject of religion.

Christian fundamentalists who object to this need to get over themselves and focus on common ground with those of different cultures.

  • @Starbat88 - America does not need to get over it's heritage, it needs to accept it and return to it. It is because of Christian fundamentals that this country even exists. Obama is not a CHRISTIAN. He is a hypocrite to AMERICA and to our FOUNDING FATHERS! It is ironic, that while many want to put down Christianity, they do not find fault with the "progressive" movement who has now made it legal to force our children to have to STUDY Islam in school but cannot study Christianity!!! Hypocritie!!!

  • @Dooger1026

"Lighthouses are more useful than Churches" - Thomas Jefferson

You can "claim" that America was "founded" on Christian values all you like. It will never make it true.

There's a reason the Founding Fathers advocated a separation of Church and State.

  • @Starbat88 The Founding Fathers did not at all encourage seperation of church and state. That concept, nor those words are not found any where in The Constitution. The "Progressive" idea that there is such a seperation came in a judicial decision that occured in 1947, faulty as it is. The 1st Amendment was written to keep government from defining a specific religion upon society, such as England had done. Revisionists have changed history and given you a false sense of knowledge! Good try!!

  • @Starbat88 There were actually four versions of the 1st Amendment, before final acceptance. When the 1st Amendment was finally approved it contained two clauses; the Establishment Clause which restricted government from establilshing a single denomination/religion as the national denomination/religion and the Free Exercise Clause which prohibited the government from interfering with a ciiizen's public religious expressions and acknowledgements. Both clauses restricted government not the citizen!

  • @Starbat88 George Washington asserted that if anyone tried to seperate religion and morality from public life and policy, he could not be called a patriot. His quote, "Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indespensable [inseperable] supports. In vain would that man claim the tribute of patriotism, who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness - these firmest props of the duties of men and citizens. (to be continued)

  • @Starbat88 George Washington went on to say..."The mere politician, equally with the pious man, ought to respect and to cherish them. Let us with caution indulge the supposition that morality can be maintained without religion. Whatever may be conceded to the influence of refined education....reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle. (to be continued)

  • @Starbat88 George Washington concluded his famous "Farewell Adress" by saying...."Let it simply be asked, Where is the security for property, for reputation, for life, if the sense of religious obligation desert the oaths which are the intstruments of investigation in the courts of justice?" This lengthy "Farewell Address" from the man who led the Continental Army, the first President, and presided over the formation of both The Constitution and The Bill of Rights. That is true history!!!!

  • @Dooger1026 George Washington was only one of the founding fathers. Furthermore, although he speaks of religion in a general sense, in those quotes you gave, there is no promotion of Christianity in particular. In a free society, citizens need to be free to express whatever religion, or lack of religion, they choose. The Government therefore, needs to be religiously neutral.

Hence the need for separation of church and state.

  • @Starbat88 To add to that, we have seen many instances of discrimination driven by religion in the past history of the United States. For example, the tension between the Protestants and Catholics in the 19th century. Or the giant issue people had with JFK being President.

  • @jmhhump316 Don't demand that everyone, particularly the president, should share your religious superstitions.

  • google Doe's Account. mindblowing.

  • I am a christian but I say Good on to Obama for this. He is one of those rare politicians that faces the fact that he is running a democratic country and needs to run it for all. His beliefs can come into his running of the nation but he must act in a way that works for all of the people, not just the ones that agree with his theological view. it is all well and good having an anti Abortion president, but if you don't have an anti abortion people to govern you need to put them first.

  • You contradict yourself. If God has the power to put Clinton and Bush into office, why is Obama not excused by your assumption? Admittedly, his words are unflattering to religion and blind faith in general, but actually he says nothing denigrating about a belief in God in this clip. He's just pleading the case for reason in policy as opposed to beliefs.

Why must politicians pay lip service to God anyway? They are not preachers. They are officials we look to for pragmatic solutions.

  • i half agree and half disagree. i disagree with obama because it seems that once a puristic society has set it's foot in the ground that there should be an embrace of other beliefs which would violate our convictions. but i agree that the church should stay as far away from politics when it comes to making policies. the church ought to do what it does best which is influence, NOT enforce. so well said mr. president.

  • Excellent President Obama!! It's about time!. We have been going backward and are finally moving forward.

  • The god of the bible in which Lot gives his virgin daughters to a mob to be raped then is later of drugged and raped by his daughters and david extorts food and goods out of honest workers on threat of harm now that is a great book get you kids to read about that or read isiah 43:17

  • I can smell what Barack is cooking.

  • @kcrabber

hahah what are you smoking?.. let me repeat Obama " READ YOUR BIBLE!" hahaha

  • maybe people took the old testament literally and thats why there was a need for the new testament.

  • @ Shrivak

I don't care what you claim, but don't post baseless warrants to your claim. They should be specific and credible. Don't be like the media to simple, easily influenced people.

  • @shadowslaya1 Read the Bible (the whole thing- not just a few sentences to suit your lust)- and you will see how Obama misused his information to his own ends. That is unless you are scared of it- the Bible might change your life.

  • ... but admitted to its share of UNIVERSAL truth that commonly apply to all groups, which is a key point in the definition of a UNIVERSAL truth, which we should focus on.

FYI, your using religion to attack.

  • @shadowslaya1 I am not using religion to attack anybody- I pointing out that Obama was grossly misusing the Bible and misleading his audience by focusing on a minute part of the Bible and trying to make it into a mountain- Jesus fulfilled the Old Testament law (hence I am Christian and not a Jew)

  • @ hollarjay

You also can't REASONABLY assume the rest are not dimes. This portrays individual perception which leads to and is influenced by differing schemas. Thus, you can actually take a verse of the Bible out of contexts. I call this personalizing literature. He just gave examples of literal faults in the Bible, to prove that it's not inerrantly true universally...

  • @shadowslaya1 NO- he just took a few sentences out of the Bible and then added his two cents worth to make them sound the way HE wanted them to sound- kind of like what you are trying to do with my first comment...

  • Obama is not a reglious person at all.

He is a diplomat and so has diplomatic faith.

But I hope he won't turn religious like George Bush, who get revelations from God to create mess in the world.

  • This is very literal, but a most sensible comment (I give you a thumbs up). Its against his will, rather in accords with the will of God (almost a conundrum whose wrong convinces the henpecked different). You are so down to earth! I don't agree at all with him because I have understanding of where things are headed.

2 peter 3:8 -but, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

  • If I had a pocket full of change- and took out a dime, can you REASONABLY assume the rest are dimes? Obama is a snake. You cant take a verse of the Bible out of context. The Bible is inerrantly true universally- Obama is the one not reading the Bible. He's just looking for fault, not the UNIVERSAL truth. He is endorsing confusion and labeling it as tolerance. If you take the Bible as a whole- the sermon on the mount wouldnt contradict our defense dept. Why dont you read the Bible and see?

  • How is he taking a verse out of context? He's telling us the story of Abraham and what we'd do today if that situation were to occur. What I don't seem to understand is how you can take anything that is supposed to be a universal biblical truth "out of context". And if you indeed CAN, how do you know you aren't the one taking it out of context?

  • @Allyepiph Jesus fulfilled the Jewish law- that is why Christians are Christians and not Jews because of the SECOND HALF of the Bible. You can take a Biblical truth out of citing part of it- citing a half-truth (like the SNAKE in the garden of Eden). I know that I am not taking it out of context because I have read the entire Bible- I know what's in there and what it says, not just what a little bit of it says. I invite you to read it as well- don't believe the snake.

  • @hollarjay Of course people take the bible out of context, cause it was written 2000 years - went slavery was acceptable ( for example)

. Its was set 2000 years ago. the real question is how can anything written that long ago be relvant to todays society.

  • @badpanda84 UNIVERSAL TRUTH. One UNIVERSAL TRUTH that has not changed (never has) is the human race's depraved nature. The Bible deals repeatedly with this unfortunate truth- SIN. Jesus died for our SINS over 2000 years ago. Cultural relativism (like whether slavery is right or wrong or who enforces it ) doesn't compare to UNIVERSAL FACTS- like the fact that 10 out of 10 people die, or in this case- "all have sinned and come short of the glory of God". Rom. 3:23 ......

  • @hollarjay Hmm sin isnt a unviersal truth. For start the defintion of Sin isnt contstatly changing - But if Jesus died for our sins 2000 years ago then why is there still sin and why is it still an issuse.

  • @badpanda84 According to the Bible- SIN is "transgression of the law". Violate the law in Exodus 20, and you've sinned. Jesus goes into detail in Matthew 5. The Bible is clear about sin- and also clearly indicates its consequences(history repeats itself- and people make the same mistakes- nothing new under the sun). The biggest penalty of sin is separation from God. The Bible is clear- so you can either reject it- live in denial- and/or accept it and get some help.

  • @hollarjay " Cultural relativism (like whether slavery is right or wrong or who enforces it "

how is that not revlant - That was my point - if you try and apply the bible in todays it will always be taken out of context.

  • @badpanda84 Darwin suggested that imperialism- slavery- would "enlighten" the "savages" and help them "evolve". Marx suggested that capitalism is slavery in action- the bourgeois over the proletariat. The Bible does not give mandates over what is slavery and what is not. It is irrelevant. No matter how you interpret slavery- don't mistreat people (whatever their status) but treat them as you would your self. To not do so is sin. The Bible clearly states that "respect of persons" is sin.

  • @hollarjay So how exactly would you define sin

  • Obama has already forgotten the Seperation Of Church & State, look at what the fuck he's about to do

  • The Letter to the Church at Laodicea

  • Comment removed

  • Umm, yeah it was!

Did you ever research the founding fathers and the making of the constitution?!

If your answer is yes, then you should know!

  • He's a christian in name only!

  • AMERICA WAS BASED SOLELY ON CHRISTIANITY!!!

Obviously he is NOT christian! He doesn't seem to get the bible at all!!

And if he's bashing the bible, it's obvious!

  • I'm pretty sure that Obama is more Christian than the supposed Christians who condemn him for being tolerant of other beliefs.

He's not siding with anyone. He's simply speaking out against a potential theocracy.

  • ditto peacechild61 - another world class flaming asshole.

  • Go fuck yoursefl Cleal99 you piece of dog shit.

  • Obama your own words condemn you! You are mocking God!

You Are Very Wrong! This is why I believe you Are Not A Christian! In fact you may be the opposite, Antichrist!
